The sun rises over sparkling waves and beaches -- and there are far more of them now, double the amount of sun and surf across the two unusual islands you've been forced to call home. Not that you were able to see the breaking dawn, given that you found yourself falling asleep at the stroke of midnight, regardless of how tired you were.

Your restful(?) sleep is brought to a sudden end at 7am with a booming whipcrack of sound; those on Seagull's Playground will hear it first, much louder than the karaoke windows shattering last night. Indeed, a window or two may crack in the arcade, but at least nothing else breaks as a new shockwave flashes out on that island. Those on Sungem's Peak will merely feel a stronger breeze and see some higher waves, but they'll certainly hear an echo of everything as they come to.

Given your sudden sleep and confinement (if you took notice in the midst of everything you were up to), it's understandably harder to keep track of your cabana-and-islandmates.

Now that you're very likely very awake -- perhaps it's time to take a look around outside, and see if this week brings better tidings than the last.

[ Best part of waking up is... possibly getting hit by the waves. Hello???

After he removes himself from whatever green shirt pile-up that may have occurred, he's going to first look around the beach. Is there anything new at the beach? Any blood, bodies, or anything that looks disturbed? ]

[ After extracting himself from the pile, Wei Wuxian looks over at Wang Lu. ]

[The beach at Sungem's Peak is surpassingly peaceful; you can hear the (slightly timid) chirps of the seabirds waking up and looking around as well, and the water may be a little choppier from whatever the hell just happened on the other island, but otherwise enjoy your green shirt pile up.

Good thing nobody was wearing a red shirt.]

[ Well, the first victim of the week is clearly Mr. Pink, who is still laying on the bed with his electric insides displayed to the world... But Lacus isn't very shocked by that part, considering she took him apart herself last night. Sorry that you weren't reactivated before morning, Mr. Pink...

Little robot friend is getting put back together first, but THEN. Lacus is heading to the buffet area to start checking out what may have occurred overnight. ]

[Something sounds crunchy! Very exciting. Lobelia will be taking a leisurely stroll along the beaches of Seagull's Playground. Has anything juicy washed up on shore?]

[There sure was some crunchitizing this morning, but it seems to be the same phenomenon as last week, whatever that was!

The beaches seem to be all right, though Lobelia can note that the distortion covering the karaoke bar is entirely gone now.]

[Unfortunately for everyone but most especially the residents of Kingfisher Cabana, Kanon steps out into the morning sun perfectly alive! She's going to check out the bar because she's spent plenty of time there and knows more or less where everything ought to be.]

[ Unfortunately or fortunately(?)!!! The bar is ever as she remembers it and a perfect place to settle in and drink the morning away if she likes. ]

[Well, time to make a quick escape.

Haruka does not want to deal with more judgement, so he's going to exit Kingfisher and go look around the other cabanas. Surely nothing will be out of place at the cabanas.]

[ Everything looks about as right as it should be in cabana land, though there's groggy people waking up everywhere. Haruka will certainly spot Sonya and Waltaquinn wwaking up in the outside communal cabana area of hammocks too. ]

[Shuda is NOT pleased that one of their number was missing from the cabana last night, so the moment he wakes up he's heading out to the pool to try to get his bearings and see what he can see...]

[The book cafe may still be slightly worse for the wear after last week's hazy run-in, but it doesn't look like it's been disturbed today. Joshua is free to get a cuppa (or two) if he likes.]

[There's a deafening crash of metal from the kitchen and the cracking of wood as a door is nearly cracked off its hinges on the way to the pantry.

Unless there are any dead bodies in here, several shelves are coming down, and MANY things are going directly into Beelzebub's mouth. He's currently in the middle of some cake flour.]

[Clouds of flour rise in the path of Beelzebub's rampage, shelves creak and stray food flies, covering the floor and some walls of the kitchen and any adjacent areas. There might even be ketchup involved. It's a total mess in here for anyone strolling in, a veritable graveyard jungle of demonic dining.

Left in the flour dust, hanging slightly askew and just on its hinges -- is that a handprint-shaped dent?? -- the kitchen door groans one final time as it attempts to swing shut and fails.

The kitchen door is dead.]

There's the cracked windows, but he probably heard those happen as he was waking, so it's totally fine. In the meantime, it looks like one of your arcade crew is no longer in here. Maybe it'd be a good idea to check the area?]

leaving the dodo cabana, crea will make his way to the garden. please he hopes that it's not ruined again. ]

[Sleeping in a hammock is actually a little more comfortable that it would seem at first glance...

But there is kind a crick in her neck and sleeping in one's clothes is a little nasty, so providing there's nothing very strange out here in the lounge area outside the cabanas, she'll go to the boutique to see if there's anything she can quickchange into.]

[ The hammocks should come with pillows seriously. She'll probably see Haruka burst out of his cabana and other people slowly trickling out, but it's nothing big to note. She'll notice though, that no one comes out of Kakapo.

Aside from that, she's free to change and freshen up at the boutique! ]

[ Kallamar is one of the last to start exploring.

Or, actually, he's one of the last to actually leave the seagull cabana. Yes, he is armed. A spear in one hand and that dagger of his in the other. Neither have blood on them, and he looks absolutely terrified.

Anything greeting him just outside the cabana? ]

[Kallamar is exercising an appropriate amount of caution for Costco Friday, good for him.

There's not much outside the cabana other than everyone else shambling around like groggy zombies. Waltaquinn and Sonya are notably up at the hammocks because they slept outside like a couple of hippies.]

[ Xiao is going to head over towards the Go-Karts after the green shirt gang is all accounted for. Anything wrong here? ]

[Well, for one, there's a conspicuous gap in the parked Go-Karts... Hm.

For another, there's definitely tire treads heading off the track... they seem to lead towards the golf course.]

[Fuck you guys for knocking him out. He's got some complaints.

Anyway, anybody break into the kingfisher cabana or tear the place apart leaving behind blood/corpses? He doesn't trust Some People (Kanon).]

And no, kingfisher is just as he remembers before passing out. Sometimes we can have nice things (and kanon). ]

[There’s a crackle across the intercom, familiar and grating, and stretching across two islands. At least there’s no squeal of feedback, because this system (or the user) can handle at least that much.

Minus the one speaker sacrificed last week, that is.]

Looks like one of you actually stepped up this time — good, I thought we’d have to wait for the island to start some real punishment before things got going. Chai’s been chosen as the first sacrifice, but you heard what I said last week.

If you want the second sacrifice to be a just one, whatever that means, you’d better start looking into his death.

You have three hours to investigate.

[After the body announcement goes out to confirm his concerns, Temenos recalls a conversation he had with Beelzebub about borrowing his phone for the camera function should this happen again.

His first instinct is to check the buffet. Once the structural damage to the door comes into view and all of the noise follows it, he has an entirely new set of concerns.
