The sun rises over sparkling waves and beaches -- and there are far more of them now, double the amount of sun and surf across the two unusual islands you've been forced to call home. Not that you were able to see the breaking dawn, given that you found yourself falling asleep at the stroke of midnight, regardless of how tired you were.

Your restful(?) sleep is brought to a sudden end at 7am with a booming whipcrack of sound; those on Seagull's Playground will hear it first, much louder than the karaoke windows shattering last night. Indeed, a window or two may crack in the arcade, but at least nothing else breaks as a new shockwave flashes out on that island. Those on Sungem's Peak will merely feel a stronger breeze and see some higher waves, but they'll certainly hear an echo of everything as they come to.

Given your sudden sleep and confinement (if you took notice in the midst of everything you were up to), it's understandably harder to keep track of your cabana-and-islandmates.

Now that you're very likely very awake -- perhaps it's time to take a look around outside, and see if this week brings better tidings than the last.

[ So it's 100% just tree goop?

How would the moderate sized indentation compare to a sword slash mark or a harpoon one? ]

[ Well, it's not amber like you would expect tree goop to be.

As far as comparing it to a sword slash or harpoon sized mark, it's the right size that it could have come from either. ]

[ Taking a picture of the marks closely.

So sparkly mystery goop. To touch or not to touch arg. Does it look like or similar to glue? Can he collect some with a napkin? ]

[ Similar enough. He can absolutely collect some with a napkin, live your best life Wang Lu. ]

[ Time to get someone else to touch this! Is there anything else? Marks around the tree or are we all done here? ]

[ There's nothing anything that will necessarily draw his attention to it, but he will obviously see that this palm tree (and a few others) encircle a bubbling fountain. Since he's been here a while, he'll also notice that there's a pleasantly sweet smell wafting from it. ]

[ Time to follow his nose to the fountain. What kind of sweet smell? Is it like someone dumped in bubble bath or vanilla into it? Is there anything inside of bubbling fountain? ]

[ It just smells sweet, without any notable hints of any other fragrance like vanilla or floral scents. Getting closer, he'll also note that the fountain is giving off a pleasant warmth/heat.

And as he looks inside, though he doesn't see anything in there out of the ordinary, he will be able to tell that the liquid is more viscous than water. ]

[ Does it smell similar to something fruity? He will take a pic of the bubbling viscous liquid. ] Should have used some intelligent points in science... [ Tsk-ing lightly as himself. Is there an empty container or any other marks close by? ]

[ Nope! And it's still just a distinctively sweet smell. No other marks close by but if he wants to take one of the candy bowl props he can use that as a makeshift container. ]

[ He's going to do just that. How does it look compared to his mystery goop anyways? Do they match in terms of looks and smell? Yes, he will sniff a napkin goop to check.

Also please don't let this be like a fountain full of lube or something. ]

Okay well, dipping the container in he will notice uh. The liquid is hot? Like really hot, hope he's grabbing the bowl by the edges to get it out or it will probably get too hot to hold quickly.

The goop doesn't really smell, and as far as looks go. Well the liquid is well, a liquid and the goop is in a state between a liquid and a solid, so ymmv? They're both clear though.

And the edges of the goop in the napkin look like they've gotten a little flaky, in the time he's spent poking around the fountain. ]

[ Clearly it's one of those warm you up lubes.

It being hot means he just dropping the fucking bowl. RIP candy bowl. You were useless besides teaching him that this shit is hot.

He's just going to scoot away from the fountain to make sure it doesn't start hurling goop at him after the bowl was added.

He will check out the goop in the napkin though. Is it drying out? ]

[ This fountain is not an SCP, wow.

Anyway, yeah but just the edges, it's still goopy in the middle. ]

[ The fountain could be a mid-boss or something.

He's going to give another look at the fountain to see what the limbo goop liquid is doing to the bowl. Does it seem to be melting at all or just being hot ]

[ Since the candy bowl was made of plastic it's... definitely melting. Not rapidly but clearly no longer holding its form. ]

[ Okay yeah. He is not touching that or carrying that in bowls. He'll take another pic of that.

Time to look around some more. Is there anything else of note? Something to smell or an empty container shoved some where like a hole or in the fake windmill? ]

[ Nothing else to note! And nothing shoved anywhere else either.
