As much as this vacation was unplanned, hopefully you've found some time to enjoy yourself this weekend as you've settled in. The idyllic beach, all inclusive food, drink, and shopping might be almost enough to distract you from that pesky talk of sacrifice. Vacations really are about letting your worries pass you by. Hopefully you've found the time to set up your U-PINION too, because if you haven't, it's been chirping incessantly since the date turned to Monday. And come Monday at noon, everyone's device will let out a pleasant jingle, heralding several announcements across the screen:

Happy Monday! We've hope you've been enjoying your time at Sungem's Peak. The Mermer (intranet) is now fully operational. Chat with your friends and get recommendations for how to best enjoy your vacation, by:

• Asking honest questions via our anonymous poll system

The artificial peppiness of the announcement just oozes out from the U-PINION, and soon thereafter everyone will be accosted by a friendly robot that forces a physical copy of the rules into their hands anyway. Just in case. They'll also present a copy of the tasks this week as well, for any interested parties.

[Around the resort Skywarp makes his appearance in true Skywarp fashion, warping in front of or behind his fellow captives, accosting them with a singular demand:]

Later on, after he’s gone his fair share of bothering, he can be found in the boutique, eyeing up a collection of eye-searing tropical shirts.]

Loud. Garish. I like them. How best to wear them, do you think?

Yes... I believe I could combine several of these garments into one that was not only larger but more functional, utilizing various types of fasteners to create more flexible openings, placed in accordance with your specific needs.

[ after a moment of consideration, he nods firmly. ]

I will take on this project, freeing you from the isolation of your heretofore limited access to beachwear. You will have a perfectly fitted garish shirt with a pattern of your liking.

Yes, yes. This is the kind of dedication I deserve.

[He grins, less so at the prospect of the shirt but more that Zelkov is willing to undertake the task.]

Is this your forte, Zelkov?

You could say that. Sewing is one of my many pursuits... and coming up with creative solutions to problems is something I find quite rewarding.

Trouble? Not exactly. [He doesn’t have trouble with things.] But I could use some assistance. It’s so hard to come up with good things to say.

It's a little difficult when we don't know each other very well. I suppose you could just tell people they look nice...

[He stops where he is, brows pushed together in a perplexed expression.]

Umm...oh! I can show off the music I have on my MP3 player, and you can judge my taste--wait, no I can't. It's in my chest now.

[He looks sadly down at his own chest, as if just realizing this.]

Man...I didn't realize how inconvenient this is. How am I supposed to upload new tunes?

[Skywarp follows Chai’s gaze towards his chest. The whole concept rather reminds him of Soundwave’s whole deal.]

I must wonder why you put it there in the first place.

I wasn't the one who put it there! It was an accident.

[He gestures to his robot arm.]

I was tryin' to get my cool robot arm, and then it fell onto my chest while I was about to get it installed. And then, bam, music player in my chest. Just like that! And now everything I do syncs with the beat.

[He does keep tapping his foot to an unseen beat....]

But you can’t play it aloud, correct?

[ in the early morning before the sun is fully up in the sky, crea can be found at the beach with what seems to be...in the garden! specifically he's in the herb garden section, taking a look at the plant life. ]

Huh, I've never seen these sorts of plants. Except maybe for that one supermarket run that we had to do...

[ later in the day, however, he's by the beach. he's in his government-provided swim trunks, but also wearing a hawaiian shirt. he also has a beach ball in his hands, which he throws at your character. ]

[ Crea throws the ball, and Xiao catches it with ease. He's put distance between him and the other, and he looks down at the ball, and then back up at Crea. He's also wearing his island gear, matchies... ]

[ Tentatively, he throws the ball back. ]

Xiao! Hey!

[ as soon as xiao throws the ball back, crea aligns himself with the trajectory and volleys it back...! ]

How're you doing!?

[plunges]

[ What a technique...! Xiao's profile states that he has no interest in mortal affairs, but here he is, playing beach ball with Crea. Xiao pushes it back towards him with one hand. ]

Fine. Continuing to gather my bearings.

[ It's been a few days, but it feels like it's been a whole month. ]

...You look like you're making the best of things.

Our situation is detestable but it is pretty nice to have some unique flora to look at, hm?

[ he observes some of the herbs, taking in the fragrance. ]

I haven't seen a lot of this flora. I come from a forest region, so this is totally different.

[ He perks up at that, but then hums at some of the things, looking thoughtful as he picks up a random flower, before placing it back in its spot. ]

I suppose it'd make sense you wouldn't recognize some of it, then. What's it like living at home, anyway? Peaceful? Never a dull moment?
