As much as this vacation was unplanned, hopefully you've found some time to enjoy yourself this weekend as you've settled in. The idyllic beach, all inclusive food, drink, and shopping might be almost enough to distract you from that pesky talk of sacrifice. Vacations really are about letting your worries pass you by. Hopefully you've found the time to set up your U-PINION too, because if you haven't, it's been chirping incessantly since the date turned to Monday. And come Monday at noon, everyone's device will let out a pleasant jingle, heralding several announcements across the screen:

Happy Monday! We've hope you've been enjoying your time at Sungem's Peak. The Mermer (intranet) is now fully operational. Chat with your friends and get recommendations for how to best enjoy your vacation, by:

• Reading about your fellow vacationers via their profile
• Chatting on the network
• Asking honest questions via our anonymous poll system
• REQUIRED: Reading the RULES set by the administrators

We're also happy to announce our reward system is live! Complete tasks to receive special items to improve your stay!!! Contact your administrators for any questions or concerns. We hope you have a wonderful week!

The artificial peppiness of the announcement just oozes out from the U-PINION, and soon thereafter everyone will be accosted by a friendly robot that forces a physical copy of the rules into their hands anyway. Just in case. They'll also present a copy of the tasks this week as well, for any interested parties.

[ Oh no, that's so cute... Both the absolutely atrocious layering of coats and the attitude are immediately endearing to Lacus. She giggles. ]

That sounds excellent! You're Nona, correct? I'm Lacus Clyne and I am honored to be on this shopping trip with you today.

[ The last shopping trip with friends she went one ended with someone dead and Lacus heavier with guilt she'd be carrying for the rest of her life, but she pushes the thought to the side. ]

I think... your outfit might be a bit too... winter-y?

[Nona makes note of the guilt and the grief that wells to the surface of Lacus' heart, in her own mysterious Nona way.

Presently, she grins, delighted. The girl in front of her is like a princess. Which just reminds her even more of Crown. Nona bows.]

It's almost winter somewhere, it helps to be prepared, and I don't notice temperatures. I think I would sink if I tried to swim in the ocean though, because I'm wearing so much skin.

My, thank you! I'd be happy and try to find the perfect summer look for you! Of course, you just have to suggest something for me as well - that's half the fun of shopping together. We can give each other a little fashion show~

[Okay!!! She's been given a task!!! She decides that this is important so she puts her whole focus into finding something that matches her new friend.]

I'll do my best! [Fashion... really isn't a priority where she comes from. She has her free moustache rides shirt (that has been cruelly taken from her) but beyond that she's not sure she's ever even heard Palamedes and Camilla talk about it. Crown loves it, but she's frustrated by the lack of options available for her in the war-torn city they live in, so she's had to make do.

It doesn't stop her from being the most beautiful girl she's ever seen (except for herself) but she does complain about the lack of hair conditioning.

But okay. An outfit for Lacus. Lacus seems to like pink, so something girly... hmmmm... this, maybe? She picks it out and then picks out some pink stockings. Is that too much pink? She can't tell. She's thinking really hard about this.]
