As much as this vacation was unplanned, hopefully you've found some time to enjoy yourself this weekend as you've settled in. The idyllic beach, all inclusive food, drink, and shopping might be almost enough to distract you from that pesky talk of sacrifice. Vacations really are about letting your worries pass you by. Hopefully you've found the time to set up your U-PINION too, because if you haven't, it's been chirping incessantly since the date turned to Monday. And come Monday at noon, everyone's device will let out a pleasant jingle, heralding several announcements across the screen:

Happy Monday! We've hope you've been enjoying your time at Sungem's Peak. The Mermer (intranet) is now fully operational. Chat with your friends and get recommendations for how to best enjoy your vacation, by:

• Reading about your fellow vacationers via their profile
• Chatting on the network
• Asking honest questions via our anonymous poll system
• REQUIRED: Reading the RULES set by the administrators

We're also happy to announce our reward system is live! Complete tasks to receive special items to improve your stay!!! Contact your administrators for any questions or concerns. We hope you have a wonderful week!

The artificial peppiness of the announcement just oozes out from the U-PINION, and soon thereafter everyone will be accosted by a friendly robot that forces a physical copy of the rules into their hands anyway. Just in case. They'll also present a copy of the tasks this week as well, for any interested parties.

((OOC: Welcome to Week 1! This is a peace week, so they'll be no case this weekend. However, we have something for you to chew on Saturday, time to be announced later in discord.

Haha! I can't imagine one as bottomless as you would be satisfied with lettuce and tomatoes alone. Perhaps the addition of filet mignon d'toucan would be enough to slake your appetite?

His stomach growls almost obscenely loud, and his grip against his shirt tightens.]

[Oh, dear. We're not having a fight here.

Beelzebub receives a gentle tap on the shoulder from Temenos' staff.]

I assure you that's what he wants. Here, I have something for you.

[gluttoning]

[Beelzebub is busy glaring hungry daggers at Lobelia, but the tap at least gets a subtle turn of his head.

He doesn't respond, but Temenos at least has his attention.]

[Beelzebub said he wished there were more wrapped treats, and Temenos is providing. He has another.

Is he just carrying them around now? ...maybe.]

[gluttoning]

[The treat is immediately grabbed and shoved into his mouth, plastic and all.

He doesn't hardly even chew.]

[That sure is a sight. But at least he doesn't have to be concerned that it'll affect Beelzebub's digestion.]

How are you feeling now?

[gluttoning]

[His stomach answers the question, a steady rolling growl. The demon's grip against his shirt tightens with a sharp exhale.]

...

I need to go get more. A lot more.

[Temenos breathes out a sigh, more relieved than agitated.]

No need to apologize. Go on, eat and calm yourself.

[He'll probably check up on Beelzebub in a bit.]

[With Temenos stepping in, it would be foolish to prod the poor boy any further. Regardless, Lobelia lets loose a laugh as he steps back to let Temenos take over. A spectacle is what Lobelia wants, but he's not eager to make himself a part of the act.]

[gluttoning]

[Hmph. And take your garden jarden admin word salad with you!!

Lobelia stepping away at least keeps Beelzebub from getting worked up any further. But boy, he sure looks salty.]
