This dimension always had a deadline. I always planned on finishing my projects beforehand -- we can't all be as carefree as the lot of you.

This is last-minute preparations. I reward those who work for me, which technically all of you have, so I'm prepared to make a few offers and maybe a few concessions.

What’s to stop these folks from deciding to use you to increase the amount of ‘em that get to go home? Most you’ve got is being the bloke who operates the machine, but that’s negotiable.
