Throughout your time on the island, there's been a steady rhythm; the murders, the trials, the executions, the clean-up afterwards that leave just up remnants for you to remember what was lost. This Monday morning though, things are different. The debris and any biohazards are cleared, but no effort has been made to repair the games at the arcade, or to restock the chemicals and damaged equipment at the laboratory.

Odd.

If you cast your eyes to the sky, you'll also notice that the distortion is also lingering—there's certainly less of it at least, a haze still lingering over the go-karts, one whirlpool lingering out in the sea. It could be worse, surely.

Though there's no new locations for you to take your mind off of all these oddities either. In fact, looking at your device to access the resort map area and scrolling past Kakapo's Nest triggers an error.

There’s one more, slightly more eclectic change: the kittybots, instead of having cute kitty ears and faces, are now without exception round-headed. This would make them look like ordinary robots, but their heads actually now look like a bowl of fish swimming, which occasionally form up into expressions. A change of pace for everything, it seems.

They might not care if we try to secure an exit if they have their own route away. I still feel like we haven't seen the full deck and they may have something else in mind for us. Either way, we might want to figure out groups. Those who want to help secure an escape route, those who are smart with computers, and those who can defend against the nomu or our hosts if it comes down to it.

Yeah, that's a good point—just in case the places we're going for aren't roomy enough to hold all of us at once.

If it helps, elevators tend to have a lot of safety limits in check to avoid as much of that as possible. Probably something to keep in mind though? That'd be one way to accidentally separate the group.

We can't predict that everything and everyone will go where we need them to, either, so it might be a good idea to make sure not to put all our computer people in one place, all our escape artists in another, and so forth.

Just in case our computer people run into the Nomu and the combat crew is halfway across the secret base, or something.

Yeah, you're right. And I wouldn't rely on us being able to use the U-PINIONs to keep coordinating for much longer, so that makes placement more important.

If we need coordination ... I guess it'd be a nice bonus to get into whatever systems they use for all the announcements and stuff.

Assuming they have a similar setup down there, anyway. Maybe not the highest priority, but still, a nice bonus?

That does bring up something maybe important...

Should we all start volunteering our skillsets and talents and what we'd prefer to be doing when we all go storm the castle or whatever? At least so we can make a tally and get an idea for what all goes where?

Or are we still trying to keep whatever we can a secret?

I don't think we have much reason to hide things now. The administrators already know about whatever powers we have... there's no reason they couldn't have researched our regular skills, too. All it can really do is make it easier for us to plan, right?

I wish we knew if there was any chance of lifting the limitations on our powers. That could change things a lot.

They will have seen most of my offensive firepower in action, so there's no point.

Give me something worth fighting and I'll gladly revel in the battle... yet I do also have a good sense of direction and carrying out a plot.

I can stay with those that will not be front-facing and secure an escape route. I'd rather leave the fighting up to the ones with the real capability for it.

[ He's not bad with hand-to-hand combat should things come down to it, but he'd rather the people who can explode things go before him. His necromancy will be a backup. ]

I think it goes without saying where I'd be the most useful.

That said, if anyone happens to have a sword they aren't using, I'd like to borrow it. I'd prefer not to have to rely on my Dark Bring in combat, especially with the limitations placed on it.

I'm going to fight. My powers seem to be back to normal--normal, for here, anyway. But in case something happens and I end up switching with Medea, it would be nice if anyone had something like a crossbow. I'd like to make certain she has more options than just my sword.
