WEEK SIX

WEEK SIX
16 Vacationers

Throughout your time on the island, there's been a steady rhythm; the murders, the trials, the executions, the clean-up afterwards that leave just up remnants for you to remember what was lost. This Monday morning though, things are different. The debris and any biohazards are cleared, but no effort has been made to repair the games at the arcade, or to restock the chemicals and damaged equipment at the laboratory.

Odd.

If you cast your eyes to the sky, you'll also notice that the distortion is also lingering—there's certainly less of it at least, a haze still lingering over the go-karts, one whirlpool lingering out in the sea. It could be worse, surely.

Though there's no new locations for you to take your mind off of all these oddities either. In fact, looking at your device to access the resort map area and scrolling past Kakapo's Nest triggers an error.

There’s one more, slightly more eclectic change: the kittybots, instead of having cute kitty ears and faces, are now without exception round-headed. This would make them look like ordinary robots, but their heads actually now look like a bowl of fish swimming, which occasionally form up into expressions. A change of pace for everything, it seems.

!

[ It's still wishful thinking, but if Magolor is on the problem, then maybe? She nods. ]

I wouldn't want to count on it. But it would help a lot if we could. And then we'd have a way in that wouldn't break anything until we mean to.

[ Look at her not looking at Shuda as she says this........ ]

If we can get our powers back properly, I can heal through most things. [ Like a tiny, bubbly Wolverine! ] I can heal anyone standing close enough to me, too. I'll run out of energy eventually, but... the bigger problem is that if I'm about to die, Medea will take my place. For Medea, well... our world doesn't have technology like this, but she does know about a lot of things. If we need a second specialist on herbs and chemicals, she can do that. She's a strong fighter and a good shot. But we won't have my divinity until I return.

[ She's not really going into her smiting, it seems like they have enough people who blow things up. ]

[ a tiny, cute, bubbly wolverine... he just nods cheerfully at her. ]

That sounds pretty useful, basically just having a healing aura... Oh yeah.

[ that reminds him! ]

I know everyone here knows I can heal folks, but I do want to let people know not to rely on it too much. Treat it as a limited resource, because that's what it will be! I know I can get around pretty quickly, but I still can't heal at a range if you get pinned down or something, so just take that into account!

[ that means you, general meat tanks in the audience, though they don't. really seem to have many left. ]

As far as other limits go ... Well, it'd be nice if we could get them removed, but outside of being able to take half a step outside of reality for a bit it really would just mean I'd be able to do more damage than I already can. Not to toot my own horn or anything, but I like to think I'm no slouch in the offensive magic department. It might be that I'd have to be careful not to do too much damage, ehe...

[ fire and lightning, wind and tears in reality, black holes, giant lasers, even bigger swords, oh my; ]
