Throughout your time on the island, there's been a steady rhythm; the murders, the trials, the executions, the clean-up afterwards that leave just up remnants for you to remember what was lost. This Monday morning though, things are different. The debris and any biohazards are cleared, but no effort has been made to repair the games at the arcade, or to restock the chemicals and damaged equipment at the laboratory.

Odd.

If you cast your eyes to the sky, you'll also notice that the distortion is also lingering—there's certainly less of it at least, a haze still lingering over the go-karts, one whirlpool lingering out in the sea. It could be worse, surely.

Though there's no new locations for you to take your mind off of all these oddities either. In fact, looking at your device to access the resort map area and scrolling past Kakapo's Nest triggers an error.

There’s one more, slightly more eclectic change: the kittybots, instead of having cute kitty ears and faces, are now without exception round-headed. This would make them look like ordinary robots, but their heads actually now look like a bowl of fish swimming, which occasionally form up into expressions. A change of pace for everything, it seems.

Anyone else notice the sound came from us? Makes you wonder if they implanted something inside of us of if that is how one of their abilities works. The formal makes sense because they would need a way to monitor us at all times while this whole experiment happens.

We don't know how long we were out for back when we all first got here.

But we do know it was long enough for them to get a good look at us and figure out what we're all supposedly able to do.

Does anyone here have tech-related powers, I feel like most of the group is skewed towards like, elemental powers or something which probably isn't too helpful.

I don't have technology-related powers, but I am quick on the uptake regarding these things. My world is quite technologically advanced. If we find a system, I can at least try my best.

Not powers. Just a long history of researching whatever I could get my hands on, and some first hand engineering experience with advanced technology.

That would make sense, I think? They've been keeping our powers limited, and I don't know that it would be possible for them to be drugging us all the time.

If that's it, I wonder if it's really the drug that gave Wei Wuxian his powers back for a bit, or if the administrators just... gave them back to test it.

It does sound more likely that they removed or even lowered the block to see what it'll do. We could always ask the rat among the mice if he knows that's the case.

Well, there's an easy way to check for that, isn't there? If they've had to keep drugging us every Thursday then that means it's something that wears off.

But there's certain parties who stay awake then, aren't there? Not as easy to get at them.

... how else would you get everyone except a select few to fall asleep at the exact same time? Same thing with the barrier thing we kept testing, it's like they have to keep us in a certain place and contained.
