As much as this vacation was unplanned, hopefully you've found some time to enjoy yourself this weekend as you've settled in. The idyllic beach, all inclusive food, drink, and shopping might be almost enough to distract you from that pesky talk of sacrifice. Vacations really are about letting your worries pass you by. Hopefully you've found the time to set up your U-PINION too, because if you haven't, it's been chirping incessantly since the date turned to Monday. And come Monday at noon, everyone's device will let out a pleasant jingle, heralding several announcements across the screen:

Happy Monday! We've hope you've been enjoying your time at Sungem's Peak. The Mermer (intranet) is now fully operational. Chat with your friends and get recommendations for how to best enjoy your vacation, by:

The artificial peppiness of the announcement just oozes out from the U-PINION, and soon thereafter everyone will be accosted by a friendly robot that forces a physical copy of the rules into their hands anyway. Just in case. They'll also present a copy of the tasks this week as well, for any interested parties.

And...hm, one of those shared abilities was transformation, wasn't it?]

Oh, I just mean that a lot of it reads like one person could have written it all. Most of it's very brisk and to the point: 'can do this,' 'able to do that,' 'doing such and such.'

Then you have a handful of ones like mine and Billy's, and the quip about edginess on Waltaquin's that make it seem like whoever wrote those was feeling a little sillier than on the rest of them.

There's no need to praise me for that. It's helped me survive for as long as I have.

[ Naturally, Xiao has been keeping an eye on Baizhu, making sure that he's safe. Sure, he doesn't approve of what the doctor is trying to do, but Baizhu tended to him once before. This is just Xiao's way of returning the favor.

He can no longer teleport like he used to, so Xiao simply approaches Baizhu and folds his arms over his chest. ]

Active ones? It sure does. Not just the heat either - there's a whole bunch of things that you have to watch out for when you hang around volcanoes for too long.

Oh, her ... really, we're kind of more just acquaintances? We don't really know each other that well. Just managed to work together for a bit while other things were going down.

Alright. So I think the first game is Never Have I Ever? Basically all you do is say something you’ve never done, and then everyone who’s done that thing has to drink. Like… you could say “I’ve never been a mortal”, then because I’m mortal I’d have to drink whatever I have on me. Dunno if we’re gonna get to any other games, though.
