21 Vacationers

The weekend sure was something, wasn't it? Tempers flared, explosions burst, and some were treated to an immersive sand bath experience. Come Monday at least, things seem quieter though not in the unnatural still way—the distortions on the islands have receded sometime in the night (with some impressive firework-like booms that may have stirred your sleep, at that; and the waves seem a little higher this morning) and the various amenities on the island have been made orderly again. Though, as always, some traces remain in the landscape; the waterfall looks like it has seen better days, though it's no longer in danger of coughing up debris on your head if looked at wrong.

This week like the rest brings new locations for you to explore, on Kakapo's Nest though it seems like only one of them really fits the vacation vibe. Hope you like snow!

in a time long, long ago, aeons in the past... from a time that's long since been forgotten, there were once four heroes. who these four heroes of yore were has been lost to time, and it is said that after they sealed a great darkness away that they all vanished mysteriously, never to be seen again.

but there's another legend, see. one about someone who might have once been known as a renowned hero, long ago in another time. the greatest warrior in the galaxy, and he was sealed away due to fear of the power he held. it's said he's been sealed away many times over the years, for he had too much power for them to ever successfully destroy.

if this hero was one of the four, after such treatment, of course he'd grow vengeful, don't you think? somewhere out there, his seal must rest. i wonder what might happen if that ever breaks?

naturally he would grow vengeful. i imagine nothing good would come out of him being let out, however

his plight is one i sympathize with. what about you?

probably. if anyone ever wanted to apologize, it's probably too late for anything like that now.

it's a shame though, that even with that much power and i assume good intention at first, you still can't defend yourself if people aren't willing to like you. if you give them any reason for them to fear you, it's kind of sad, isn't it?
