TRIAL

You all know the drill by now even if things are a little different today, with the two deceased and the shuffling of the announcements. Things are much the same at the sandbar though, kittybots setting out seafood as the theme for this week, along with every flavor of mountain dew under the sun, including the energy drink kind. (food mod note: this is actually on brand MTN dew for once!).

Off to the side in a booth of their own are the bodies as well as attendant kittybots; simply request which body you'd like to look at and the kitty bots will direct you appropriately, as if it's difficult to tell the difference between a squid and a giant robot. Maybe they're just there trying to be helpful, they're doing their best. .

Theater

Spent the night in the theater with Waltaquin, Psyche, and Wei Wuxian. When we woke up, we found Skywarp on the stage posed with the crown I had from last night and some kind of cape. Someone else was getting a closer look at at all of that. He was seated upon one of the theater seats from the audience.

There was blue drops of what I'm assuming is his blood from the stage the took me outside. That's where I saw the Go-kart parked outside. There was more of his blood inside of the go-kart, but it appears to be undamaged. If someone drove his body there, it would have been quite the tight fit.

Yeah, about that go-kart ... I don't know if anyone actually drove the thing? At least not normally. Hang on.

Kanon found something good this time! Somebody was bad in the bar~☆

There were high-proof drinks missing! So Kanon took a look around and found the pieces thrown away.

[She will in fact hold up the trash can because carrying the whole thing was preferable to digging through it.]

It looks like someone tore up a gift shop shirt while they were at it.

[Sure enough, there's strips of a shirt in there among the glass, too.]

Kanon's pretty sure a matchbook was missing, too!

Skywarp body

So I was the one that looked at Skywarp's corpse. I'm not the best with machines, but I'll do my best to explain it to ya'll.

[ sometimes you are a transplant from 2000 years in the past and that makes things a little awkward at best. regardless, he clears his throat, and starts explaining what he saw. ]

We found Skywarp sitting on a seat like a king on a throne. No, seriously. He had his chin rested on his palm, and whatever remained of one of his legs propped up on an armrest. He was also wearing a crown and a planet themed cape, which I've brought with me...

[ he'll place both things down for people to view. ]

All around him were miniature planet models and I'm gonna guess that's from the planetarium gift shop. [ he says that with a mild annoyance. so his trap didn't work as well as he thought it did. bummer. ]

As for the state of the body, he was missing both feet, aka his harpoon prosthetics and his remaining foot. They had these kind of diagonal slashes, that kind of looked like the person who ripped it off had to put a lot of effort to do so-- makes sense, since he was made out of metal.

The front and side of his torso and head had a bunch of holes on them. They're not that big, they're kind of like puncture wounds. The ones on the front torso looked like they were the deepest? And on the back of his head there were some cracks that look like they were almost going to be exit wounds. The holes, by the way, had this weird blue substance that I guess was like its blood. Oil, maybe? I think that's what cars use, at least.

On top of that, his joints and some random parts of his body had this transparent liquid. It looked and felt like water, but the smell of it was kind of fishy. I've got no idea if its a chemical or if he just had a fight with a school of fish.

I went with Wang Lu to look around. Um... there wasn't that much blood, I think. Enough to follow, but I wonder. If he was walking, I think it would have been more?

The crown was left at the planetarium. I brought it with me to see if anyone wanted it. [ Looks like someone did ]

Sounds like someone made him the center of the galaxy.

Waterfall part 1

Beelzebub and I investigated the waterfall on Kingfisher's Retreat.

We awoke to find ourselves among scattered debris from the rock face and crystal pool of the waterfall, and a acrid scent of mechanical oil in the air. At the base of the waterfall was an erratic pattern of large footprints that no doubt belonged to Skywarp. They were centralized in one area and did not lead to anywhere, almost as if making a single even larger print in their wake. Among these footprints were splatters of a blue oily substance that I would attribute to Skywarp's "blood."

In addition to all of that, I found Skywarp's remaining foot on the roof of the refreshment hut. It looked as though it had fallen onto it and it contained several diagonal slash marks on it. As for how it became detached in the first place, it seems as though it had been removed with some force, but not enough to have been simply ripped off.

We’ll need at least one more, that’s my estimate right now.

You fill a bottle with highly flammable liquid and have a rag sticking out of the hole. You light up the rag and throw it.

Are the demands growing larger or is it that this island somehow... favors the more humanoid as its fuel source?

They're all broken up! But Kanon's pretty sure all the missing bottles are in here. Kanon's looked at the drinks in the bar many times now, so she still remembers them!
