What started with a week promising relaxation turned into something else entirely. It might be nice to try to grab a quiet moment after the whirlwind of the weekend, but there's something to be said about keeping up the momentum too.The island open to you this week, Dodo's Outlook, seems to have that in mind, or at the very least, keeping your mind occupied. All damage to the island buildings has been fixed by Monday morning at least, but noticeably there are less palm trees than before where the damage was the heaviest. Explorers too will find that the area behind the waterfall has been completely sealed off with solid rock.

Whether you're the type to commune with the nature of marine life in the aquarium, the cosmos in the planetarium, or to spin your own tale in the theater, there's plenty to do and enjoy. As always there's task to complete too, and after all you've been through by now, what's a little more bonding in the pursuit of prizes?

[ Whelp, the waterfall is officially ruined, so he'll go check out the weird aquarium thing. He's not really phased by all the non-sentient fish. There are plenty of those at home. But the tanks... ]

Who tends to all these critters? [ He muses as he passes the larger tank with all the tropical fish... Then he gets to the jellyfish. ]

Hm? He walks up for a closer look... [ What was I thinking, these look nothing like the explosive jellyfish in my realm.

Did he just say EXPLOSIVE? ]

Planetarium
[ Kallamar flips through an astrology book in bemusement. ]

Hm... So mortals looked to the skies for divination... [ Flip, flip. ] Would explain the horoscope thing outside...

I think this one is called Mamma Mia. I'll admit I don't understand this movie much though... Do you know why a bride would want her "real" father to "give her away"?

1 - book café

[Sometime early Wednesday morning, Temenos can be found in the book café with a coffee in front of him as he pages through what appears to be a cookbook.

He's also wearing a rather conspicuous accessory today: some snazzy glasses. Who would have guessed that he needs reading glasses? Or does he?]

2 - theater

[While Temenos is no stranger to theater performances, motion pictures are an entirely different beast.

Arms crossed and a hand at his chin, he studies the movie schedule intense scrutiny. If anyone else is checking out the selection, he'll turn and say:]

I must say, I am morbidly curious to see one of these crime thrillers. I would like to know what sort of tale can be woven in a format like this.

Would you care to join me? A performance is better with company.

3 - ballroom

[Once the movie's out, he wanders back to the ballroom to play a few tunes on the piano again. He'd performed for Wang Lu a few days ago, and interestingly enough it's awoken a bit of an itch for more. It's not like he's been able to pursue his other minor hobbies here.

With the lights dimmed low, he sits down to play a gentle tune...]

4 - planetarium

[After night falls, Temenos spends some time up in the second floor of the planetarium, viewing the stars through the open dome, as well as the telescope. If anyone has come to join him, he comments:]

Two of my traveling companions recently aided a scholar with the invention of the astronomical telescope, though it was much smaller than this one. To think that they could one day end up this large and powerful... Heh. I am sure Osvald and Partitio would have loved to see this.
