What started with a week promising relaxation turned into something else entirely. It might be nice to try to grab a quiet moment after the whirlwind of the weekend, but there's something to be said about keeping up the momentum too.The island open to you this week, Dodo's Outlook, seems to have that in mind, or at the very least, keeping your mind occupied. All damage to the island buildings has been fixed by Monday morning at least, but noticeably there are less palm trees than before where the damage was the heaviest. Explorers too will find that the area behind the waterfall has been completely sealed off with solid rock.

Whether you're the type to commune with the nature of marine life in the aquarium, the cosmos in the planetarium, or to spin your own tale in the theater, there's plenty to do and enjoy. As always there's task to complete too, and after all you've been through by now, what's a little more bonding in the pursuit of prizes?

We Need To Talk About The Grapes

Two days ago, Wang Lu, Ibuki, Shuda and myself were summoned to the waterfall at Kingfisher's Retreat by a very incessant beeping noise.

There, we found the ruins of a laboratory and an aggressive monster that can be assumed to have been created in it. The monster has since been dispatched- Shigaraki referred to it as a "Nomu."

[He turns to Haruka and Zelkov.]

Would you two mind going into detail about what you discovered there while it was still in one piece?

Myself and the others can, of course, elaborate further on the creature.

I dragged Beel there on Monday because Ibuki told me about it and I wanted to see it for myself.

[ ... ]

It's like, completely gone now. No trace of it anymore. It didn't poison the water, though, that's probably a good thing.

[plunges]

Could you describe the monster's capabilities, and perhaps its appearance?

[ Yes. We're talking about the grapes. ]

On Thursday morning, Haruka and I alone heard a mysterious sound that lured us to a hidden door behind the waterfall on Kingfisher's Retreat. There was an electronic lock of some sort that had already been disengaged some time earlier, and we were able to enter easily.

The inside appeared to be some sort of laboratory, though with equipment that was far more advanced than any I had seen... something called the "Lelantos" system.

[ he did take at least a few pictures on his phone, so he can share those. ]

There were several reports of experiments that had been conducted — on one unknown subject who was still listed as "alive" and three listed as "deceased", whom we were able to identify from the given descriptions as Merlin, Chai, and Sonya. Each report noted some level of "synchronization" and something being retrieved from the subject. I believe Haruka still has the original reports.

There was a box which released some sort of aggressive violet orb upon contact, and several vials near it. Upon investigating the machine at the center of the lab, it requested a sample be input, so I inserted one of the vials, which seemed to be the appropriate size and shape, to see if it would provide any additional information.

[ he has regrets... ]

Unfortunately, it did not; it simply stated that the sample had been accepted, and estimated eighty-eight hours until analysis would be completed. I had assumed that I would personally be the one to deal with it if this caused any problems, but I did not take the possibility of such a lengthy wait time into account.

By that point, it was clear that the security system had been tracking how long the lock had been disengaged, so we thought it prudent to exit the premises.

If anyone is in need of refreshment today, you need look no further. I have developed a trio of restorative brews that combine the sweetness of local fruits with the natural stimulative properties of green tea.

[ there are three iced drinks in tall, clear glasses on the counter — one orange, one pink, and one a deep pinkish red. each one has a little drink umbrella that's been altered into the shape of a flying dragon.

he gestures to each one as he relays their respective details. ]

This, the Golden Elixir, mixing the fresh, tropical flavors of mango and pineapple...

The Roseate Tonic, an invigorating blend of strawberry and dragonfruit...

And finally, the Garnet Concoction, an enticing melange of raspberry and watermelon.

[ nudging them forward for whoever wants to claim the first round. ]

These shall collectively be known as the Divine Dragon Refreshers. Please partake and let me know your thoughts.

[He hasn't been out in public for a couple days outside some occasional trips to the buffet, but Beelzebub is here today, hovering around the snacks and looking overall less exhausted (and still in one piece!).]

[Shuda's here too, still moving very stiffly and carefully but at least it's a lot better than Sunday? We don't talk about Sunday. HE does not want to talk about Sunday.

He'll be taking a seat off to the side of the rest of the group, but if someone comes over to say hello he isn't going to shoo them away.]
