INVESTIGATION

Good morning, sunshines, sungems, and wild partiers of the night! No matter what kind of night you had, you'll find yourself awakening to an energetic tune blasting out from the island speaker system, one that more than a few of you will recognize -- you won't be able to escape it, but why would you want to?

Music is a great way to start your day, and surely, this is a great omen for Fridays at this resort. There's at least one reason to get up dancing, as the wings of the warp phenomenon have vanished with the morning mist and the sea breeze; Kingfisher's Retreat boasts a beautiful, uninterrupted waterfall that reflects the morning sun once more, and the waves at Sungem's Peak are largely peaceful. Even the customary burst of sound and pressure was a little mollified by the addition of the new soundtrack. You know what that means by now, but hopefully the music will add a pep in your step.

[If there is honking outside, it's beautifully harmonized to the song coming over the speakers--

There's no geese to be found stepping outside! But there may be other things... Like debris. And stuff.]

[ Okay, that's actually concerning to him, so he'll walk outside to check, assuming nothing's amiss with Alice and Chuuya.

Anything interesting about those debris up close? He's tempted to move things around immediately, but eh, he can check first. ]

[Well, they're not huge chunks, but they are of a size that you probably don't want striking you in the head. Most of them are located on the side closest to the resort, which may account for why Lacus is currently pelting in that direction.

Also, some of the resort roof is gone, just FYI.]

[ Okay, that probably wasn't the goose's fault at all? Probably? Which means someone else might be dead. Anyway, he's going to completely ignore the debris and go in the opposite direction to search for the little feathered one, assuming the goose fucked off at all that.

Yes, this is his priority. Off he goes. ]

[Ibuki is doing his best. And since he's searching so very diligently...

Eventually, he'll be able to spot something white and fluffy near the side of the resort by the laundry. You know, where the destruction is worst! All roads lead to ruin.]

[ Wow, maybe this goose is more destructive than he thought. But he'll leisurely step closer, because he has not yet known the fear of god goose. ]

Hmm, is that you? Goose morning?

[ Maybe someone should recheck his reading material. ]

[Alas, there's no answer and no honking forthcoming.

Just a sad little pile of feathers and blood, smeared at the side of the resort like an afterthought.

The goose is dead.]

[ Oh. Well, that's the first time he's ever felt deep sorrow here.

He solemnly steps towards what's left of the goose and kneels down to speak, as if still conversing with a small living being. ]

I hope you gave them hell for this.
