Good morning, sunshines, sungems, and wild partiers of the night! No matter what kind of night you had, you'll find yourself awakening to an energetic tune blasting out from the island speaker system, one that more than a few of you will recognize -- you won't be able to escape it, but why would you want to?

Music is a great way to start your day, and surely, this is a great omen for Fridays at this resort. There's at least one reason to get up dancing, as the wings of the warp phenomenon have vanished with the morning mist and the sea breeze; Kingfisher's Retreat boasts a beautiful, uninterrupted waterfall that reflects the morning sun once more, and the waves at Sungem's Peak are largely peaceful. Even the customary burst of sound and pressure was a little mollified by the addition of the new soundtrack. You know what that means by now, but hopefully the music will add a pep in your step.

[ Lacus wakes in the garden, to the sound of her friend's singing.. This should be a sign of a very good day. It is decidedly not.

Only one look around makes her blood freeze in her veins. She will only shoot Zelkov a short look, before running off towards the main resort building. ]

well. he'll rush to catch up with her, in that case. ]

[ Running up, you'll be able to see that the roof of the main resort building is not all in piece. More specifically, the section by the laundry is mostly gone. ]

[ Well. To the laundry then! She won't stop running until she gets there, sorry to both Zelkov and Mr. Pink who are trying to catch up.

Bad feeling about this, bad feeling about this, bad feeling about this... ]

[ zelkov has his own suspicions here, and if they're right... he doesn't like the idea of lacus being the first one alone at the scene.

fortunately, he's fast, and mr. pink can hitch a ride in his hood. ]

[ The mysterious purple !not grape can attest to Zeklov's speed. When the two of them reach the laundry they'll find the remains of...

pretty much all the washers and dryers. We'll come back here for investigation proper, but there's no bodies to be found and notably no blood either. ]

Not here...

[ Lacus finally pauses for just a second to catch her breath and actually turn to Zelkov. ]

We need to find him. Destruction of this level... that song...

...Yes, I believe we share those same suspicions.

We can investigate around the rest of the building. Perhaps things didn't end in this spot, even if the majority of the damage is localized here.

[ holds out a hand if she wants to take it? and mr. pink will probably jump out of his hood and over to her.

let's walk the perimeter of the fucked up resort building... ]

[ God. Yes, she wants to take that hand. She needs to project strength at so many occasions, but right now they're the only ones here. ]

Yes, it'll be best to make sure. And... the barrier has fallen. It is likely we will be too late.

[ She knows this, and still she wants to get there as fast as possible. Alright let's check out everywhere in and around the resort building for blood and corpses. ]

[ Oddly enough, you'll find no blood and no corpses in the main resort building. And as a general note though we'll be back here after body discovery, the entrance to the fitness center, as well as the side of the buffet that is also on this side has seen better days.

Here's where I would say enjoy your rest until the body(s) but...this sure is a disaster. ]

[ Someone will certainly be here to investigate this later, but it might not be Lacus because upon finding this place clean, she'll nudge Zelkov towards the bridge to the next island.

She is here to find a body. The rest is secondary.

(But the next island body-finding seems in progress, so we shall hang back and wait.) ]
