i can safely say that's the first time i've ever run into the situation of a cult summoning/unsealing/creating a new incarnation of? some sort of ancient primordial being that's been supposedly around since time immemorial and had to get sealed away a long time ago in the distant past by way of collecting all sorts of bad vibes and some amount of ritual sacrifice.

though, as far as being comprised of dark energy goes ... there's a lot of variants of dark matter out there. hmm.

the ancient scrolls say that the four things that created the origin are dream, dark, soul, and heart matter. somewhere in the crucible of chaos and infinite possibilities, the origin was born ... a cute fairy tale, and definitely not a model of the cosmos any of us are familiar with, probably!

but it's an interesting thought, isn't it? what with said original ancestral being maybe actually, apparently existing in some form.

i once heard someone say that fairy tales are usually a sort of warning
wonder if whoever wrote those scrolls had that ancestral being in mind?
though that does beg the question of the existence of fellow primordials

i'm going to start with the working assumption that it isn't supposed to be interpreted literally on that one.

[ imagine collecting actual hearts. becoming a serial lobelia and ripping them out of all one's victims like trophies for sickos... ]

though i guess actually thinking about it maybe there's some possible interplay between the four to narrow the possibilities some? if dark is all sorts of bad vibes as we've seen demonstrated then either dream or heart might be a corresponding good vibes sort of thing, all that.

or maybe heart is something closer to the material to soul's immaterial ... who knows!

i would say it's decently likely they had that ancestral being in mind at least somewhere in all this, though. someone had to seal it originally and all. simplest answer, right?
