Well, this ain't the islands anymore. You might see pieces of the island, a go-kart floating in the distance, the waterfall flowing upside down, a giant lollipop, all floating in what's similar to a nebula in space. Actually, it's closer to the void you've all grown to know so well over the weeks.

Fret not because the air here is breathable even if the landscape defies physics. Scattered throughout the "land" are shadowy portals, each leading to all of your homeworlds, at the exact time you had left off. Manipulating space-time is convenient like that.

Your u-pinions somehow, have survived, and they'll continue to function as an intranet between all of you. Oh, and everyone will gain the power to return to this space whenever they'd like and utilize the portals as they wish.

Your vacation is finally over, but this doesn't have to be goodbye.

That was getting off easy? Sounds like it's starting to become a pattern of digging himself into holes.

His quirk is everything he is, yeah? He can't achieve his goal of "curing" society without it. But since he thought that quirks were all illness he really didn't need his at all!

[ ...hopefully she doesn't mind his maniacal laughing fit cuz this is personal. ]

Back home we took both his arms and left him for dead. He's rotting in jail a shell of himself and his entire gang was destroyed.

Some things are worse than death.

"Curing" society, huh... That explains a lot about him and his experiments. [ And his os—plague doctor getup. But yeah, moving on from the clothes, she looks more and more amused as Shigaraki talks about Overhaul's other fate. ]

So that's what you meant by different times. What a twist of fate.

[ Looks like he can't keep his armory in place yet again. ]

I didn't need to see his face a second time, so there better not be a third.

[ Twist of fate sure is right. His grin relaxes, becoming a bit less hard. He casts a glance her way too, in his unique sense of self-awareness. ]

But the bonuses I got from this sidequest were worth it.

At least you can speedrun it more if it ever does?

[ She laughs a little at all the gaming terms being used. To think she knew almost nothing about video games before all this happened. ]

Glad to hear it though. Hopefully you got more than you were planning for.

I guess there's that.

[ Still... he'd much rather not see him ever again, even his world version that's locked up in Tartarus. ]

And yeah, I did. But I think I want a few more.

Why not? [ She leans into his shoulder a little more. Maybe a little too impulsive for their situation, but it's not like they aren't ready to fight if they have to. ] Do you what you want to do.

[ He easily shifts to accommodate her and their entire arrangement as best he can. Yawns a little too because- ]

Then let's take a nap again once most of the respawns have left. I wasn't gonna sleep til' Overhaul was taken care of.

Yeah, let's. We could both use one.

[ For a moment after that request, she starts humming a little, going through an inventory list in her mind. ]

This isn't my original ribbon, but... [ With one hand and some psychokinesis, Moravia unravels the pinkish red ribbon tied to the back of her dress. Then she hands it over for him to take. ] It's pretty much indistinguishable, and just as much mine now.

[ Considering everything's that going on, it's probably fine to say out loud now. This ribbon is important to her as a symbol of everything that happened that week and beyond, its fabric and design the culmination of unusual relationships she never expected to have. Even if she's not part of the group after all, it's dear to her.

But in a way, that importance is precisely why she's willing to give it to him here. ]

[handsheld]

I wonder how I can wear this. [ He's already taken the ribbon, and starts to wrap it around his left hand and arm. Maybe something like an arm wrap? He'll think on it, maybe ask the League their opinion if he feels like it when he meets up with them again. ]

This fits me better than the hand now, I think.

I think that works. [ To think this is where their talk about accessories would end up. ] Looks good on you.

[ She nods. It doesn't take her long at all to decide what to ask next. ]

Give me something of yours as well?

[handsheld]

I'll punch them with my other hand.

[ He won't lose this, it's important.

But as for something of his...he really doesn't have much, never has, so this is actually pretty easy. It's easy for him to unwrap the shawl he has on, which I totally didn't forget to mention in the endgame write-up. The final fight calls for sprucing things up a bit, and since he knows where, when, he's going back to, he has his black bodysuit on as well.

And yeah, he's just going to drape it around her if she doesn't show any resistance—it's gonna be big on her as Moravia but he thinks the loose clothing style looks good on her, if he could ever articulate such a thing (he can't). ]

I'm sure you can pull it off.

[ Moravia, don't you already have a bunch of gifts from Shigaraki? Yes. So why are you asking him for something else? Look, this is different from playing gacha. It's more of an exchange than a gift this time.

Anyway, of course she lets him, even temporarily leaning away to make it easier. Once it's over her, both her eyes and smile grows softer, a quiet moment of peace despite the chaos of today. Her hands go up to adjust the shawl slightly, keeping it in place. Can't have it falling now. ]

And I'll just have to get even better at dodging.

[ It's certainly a strong motivation to not get clipped and mess up her outfit again. She's not losing this to an errant bird or attack. ]

[handsheld]

You've done a lot of grinding, I'm sure your stats are way higher now. Don't forget to send me a cool explosion shot too.

[ Since their u-pinions are still a thing, somehow. ]

Hehe, will do. I already have a few ideas to run by my allies. [ Gotta make it flashy like fireworks for a cool shot. ] You should send me some too. And any cool high scores.

[ Time for their unhinged text conversations to continue, somehow. ]

[ ...hm. They've never really talked about this even if it's floated through his mind now and again. ]

Sure. It might be a while, though. If we go back to where we were before, I still have some hibernating to do.

I see... [ Right, he did mention something about hibernating before. Her smile's a little more bittersweet now, but she keeps talking. ]

Then I'll just have to keep sending messages for when you wake up.

Maybe if you send me a bunch I'll wake up earlier? I don't think I'll need all that sleep if I'm gonna catch some with you.

[ Also, he's poking her cheek when he sees her expression. ]

[ The poke does startle her out of current train of thought, blinking. ]

Hmm, that's true. And I have no shortage of ideas for messages, so that all sounds good to me.

[ After a moment, she pokes him back on the opposite cheek. ]

[handsheld]

[ He laughs, that's better. ]

The hibernations for a power-up...I'm 'bout halfway through it if I had to guess. But with the serum I don't think I really need all of it, and the process kinda sucked actually.

Then that works out pretty well.

[ She laughs as well. Right, she doesn't want to feel bittersweet about this. ]

Just don't rush it too much? Every time those researchers did, they always managed to screw something up. And I don't know who to file a complaint with here.

[ Her tone's obviously half-joking here, especially towards the end. ]

My Master, probably. The other quirk I have is his, but like I said, I don't think I really need it too much anymore.

Plus it was like he was in my head for a while there? It was weird.

[ This time Moravia nods seriously, thoughts drifting back to all the times he mentioned his Master. She doesn't really know where she's going with this, but might as well say it. ]

Hmm, I think I was hearing someone like Yuuki in my head before. [ Kind of also sounded like her parents too... ] But I feel like my thoughts have been less clouded now that I don't hear it anymore. Something like that?

[handsheld]

Maybe. [ He tilts his head, consciously or not leaning into her a bit more. ]

Some of it's probably like that yeah. But quirks are who we are, right? So if I got his entire quirk I'd probably get part of "him" too.

...I don't want that though. I'm different from him and I don't wanna become less me. Thanks but no thanks.

[ Moravia responds by leaning in as well, just like before. Part of her mind thinks of Hyuga's garden, and some plants in particular that are grafted. Applying that here feels...uneasy. She exhales at the thought. ]

Yeah, nothing's worth losing your sense of self over. You're Tomura Shigaraki, and you have your own goals. It should be all you.

[ He's not his Master or anyone else. Just like how she's ultimately different from the Takanashis. That's part of what makes them them. ]
