Though sooner, rather than later, you'll need to head deeper still, to meet your two administrators, who surely know you're coming by now.

The thought crossed my mind as well, but unfortunately there was no indication that they do or don’t need to be implanted to work. I did bring the kits if we wanted to be sure and implant them into someone else.

By “someone else”, I would offer myself up for at least one of them if we went this route. I’m not a fighter here, and I wouldn’t want someone more useful to be hampered if that turns into a poor decision. I can also remove them from myself if necessary as a failsafe.

Good point on the failsafe. Do that, and if you can, maybe put one of the chips in a plushie or something? Hold on.

That way if we lose it in combat, that might be a good red herring or we can kind of drop it somewhere we need a diversion and make people think one of the three of them are there.

Yes, I do have surgical thread and can sew one into the plush. It would definitely be easier for us to keep track of than just keeping it in someone’s pocket.
