Take some time to discuss what you've found and equip your new found loot in the open research lab. It's not a bad place for an impromptu meeting considering it's size.

Though sooner, rather than later, you'll need to head deeper still, to meet your two administrators, who surely know you're coming by now.

[Wow, what's with you people and shockwaves, at least give Athos an actual ball to play with.

There's a yowl as Athos tries to bat at the sphere and gets pushed back instead -- probably singeing a paw in the process. But it seems to have... also made him angrier. He's still in the process of closing in on Wang Lu, since he has no way of telling where the sphere came from.]

[Are the words that filter, echoing a little but not quite muffled from the mesh dome in the middle of the room.

A moment later, while half the room is occupied with chasing Athos and half the room is occupied in either prepping themselves or talking to Shigaraki: large metallic spikes start sprouting from the floor and ceiling, peppering themselves amongst the crowd -- these things aren't here to play around, and while they're not particularly aimed they are substantial, fast and coming from everywhere. Try not to get skewered.

At the same time, several of those spikes meld themselves together to form a wall similar to the mesh dome, but this one is more solid and hard to get through -- bisecting the room's occupants into two groups: those around Athos and those keeping their distance from the liger.

As for the people in the latter group? They'll hear the sound of garage doors opening, and then a few moments later: a crowd of fishbowl bots, taser arms already out and faces locked in angry fishy expressions, will come swarming at them.]

[ There's more than one thing he's keeping an eye on at the moment. ]

[ Well. Fuck. So much for waiting out the fight. Now she's cut off from the more competent fighters...

Alright, Coordinator coordination, don't fail her now. Time to throw her harpoon at the base of the nearest bots taser arm. Disable, stupid thing!! ]

[ LET'S FUCKIN GO. HE'S HERE FOR VENGEANCE AGAINST THESE GODDAMN FISH. HE'LL GO SICKOS AGAIN IF HE NEEDS TO!!!

While Lacus does that, Xiao wields his spear and he is POINTEDLY going nowhere near any of their taser arms. He's going to go to any bots that seem to be encroaching on Lacus and Haruka -- though he can only take on maybe two or three -- and try to slice whatever he can around their middle. ]

HERE COMES A SPECIALER BOY!!!!! And she's even wearing the helm this time. Of course he is still small. Which is good. Because we are in an underwater bunker laboratory.

He's waddling over right behind Shuda's row of explosions.]

I don't think Athos has met the waddledeegon yet, so he's stalking warily after Wang Lu still, eyeing the incoming creature with the attitude of something trying to decide between threat, snack... or all of the above.

After a moment he seems to decide that the waddling is going to take a while, and swipes at Wang Lu instead.]

[Oh hey, it's the manlet!

The bots do not say that, but they do react to seeing Xiao -- notably, they raise their shields a little, and then start aiming their taser arms directly for his spear. Hm. Moreover, since there's metal spikes everywhere, it makes it hard for both bots and combatants to maneuver, but they seem to be fairly nimble and well able to track their prey.

The bot having a harpoon yeeted at it retreats behind its empty arm (its shield arm), though the harpoon manages to make a decent furrow in the top of its head before it retreats all the way like a turtle.

... It then rushes Lacus with its shield, fast and menacing.]

[Hey now...there are some competent fighters on this side...

Anyway, while Xiao goes for the bots in the frontline, Temenos will raise his staff to send a flurry of light rays down upon the crowd.

So much for avoiding fighting these things!]

[ While he swipes at Wang Lu, Wei Wuxian is going to draw the Caliburn and aim a shockwave towards Athos as he slices it through the air. If he's got his thinking right, it should work similarly to the shockwave slashes of his sword when he cultivated. ]

FLOWERY NECKLACE USE

[ Shield? Meet shield! Lacus grips tightly at her flowery necklace as she tries her best to summon one. She can only hope this works and she won't just get crushed between the bot and the cage... ]

[A couple of the bots are definitely downed by the sudden light rays, but the rest raise their shields subsequently to defend; although the shields don't absorb all the impact or the light, it cuts down on the number of bots that are able to be downed.

In the meantime, at least one or two that have fled the AOE bear down on Temenos with taser arms raised.]

[ No, not this shit again, Xiao is not going to crit fail this time!! Fuck you!!!! He's quick to slide his body and his spear around to try and dodge their attacks, just narrowly avoiding to get himself caught on one of the spikes. While they're aiming for the spear, Xiao is just going to try do some anime acrobatics and try to kick at least one of them, towards one of the spikes. ]

It does mean you won't be able to get around as much either, is the thing, since I can't make it so they won't hurt you- you'll have to avoid touching them as well.

[ but then again there's already a million metal spikes everywhere, what's a few more magical ones to add to the mess? ]

[It's less a cage and more a forest of unfortunate metallic spikes with a wall in between, but that's neither here nor there -- the bot isn't huge, so it's not going to crush her, but since it's shield vs. shield it is going to try and keep pushing.

........ Lacus is now in a push-of-war with a fishbowl bot.]
