Throughout your time on the island, there's been a steady rhythm; the murders, the trials, the executions, the clean-up afterwards that leave just up remnants for you to remember what was lost. This Monday morning though, things are different. The debris and any biohazards are cleared, but no effort has been made to repair the games at the arcade, or to restock the chemicals and damaged equipment at the laboratory.

Odd.

If you cast your eyes to the sky, you'll also notice that the distortion is also lingering—there's certainly less of it at least, a haze still lingering over the go-karts, one whirlpool lingering out in the sea. It could be worse, surely.

Though there's no new locations for you to take your mind off of all these oddities either. In fact, looking at your device to access the resort map area and scrolling past Kakapo's Nest triggers an error.

There’s one more, slightly more eclectic change: the kittybots, instead of having cute kitty ears and faces, are now without exception round-headed. This would make them look like ordinary robots, but their heads actually now look like a bowl of fish swimming, which occasionally form up into expressions. A change of pace for everything, it seems.

I am impressed, actually. Considering the situation, I think a lot of people would've normally faltered, even with having the conviction and saying that kind of thing.

[ Seeing how everything went nuclear just ensures that Merlin has no reason to temper his words. The fact people recovered after that to a lot of notable respects was incredible. ]

I was training away from the Mountain and had to form my own Sect. The background is a bit long, so I'll skip that until we have more time to ourselves, but we needed to win the love and adoration of the population to gain their trust. So we formed an idol group called The Heart Boys.

I am very much a believe of the further we fall, the higher we'll rise later on. Besides, holding grudges against anyone but the ones who perpetuated all of this is pointless. It's best we work together to get everyone home safely.

So, basically you won over people's hearts when you all became an idol group.

That's impressive that you managed to accomplish that in such a short amount of time.

[ The Heart Boys. It's kind of a funny name, but it has an obvious meaning as well. The kind of idol group that have songs which will reach the hearts of those who hear their voices sing. ]

That said, you're right about that! I guess it helps that in the end, people's temperaments do event out. Maybe that's why I have faith in the rest of you all to achieve exactly that.

Never thought this would be something from a shounen, but if that's the genre this shakes out to be, then so be it.

Yeah, at first I thought it was kinda like some sci-fi horror thing, but it's definitely got those tropes to a T. I'll consider that quite a big relief that it is shaking out to be that way.

They weren't used to a male group. Our competitors were a group of females posing as Saintesses. We decided to capitalize on all the women who wouldn't be swayed by such a performance.

Shounens are much easier to deal with and all you have to do is keep punching to win, right? [ He knows it won't be that easy, but it's nice to joke about it ] We've only seen the Nomu once, so I'm assuming there had to be a repeat or it wouldn't be much of a midboss.

If it were just going to be only punching, things really would be so much simpler; maybe over and done already. Not that I don't think there isn't going to be dangerous fighting.
