WEEK SIX
WEEK SIX
16 Vacationers
Throughout your time on the island, there's been a steady rhythm; the murders, the trials, the executions, the clean-up afterwards that leave just up remnants for you to remember what was lost. This Monday morning though, things are different. The debris and any biohazards are cleared, but no effort has been made to repair the games at the arcade, or to restock the chemicals and damaged equipment at the laboratory.
Odd.
If you cast your eyes to the sky, you'll also notice that the distortion is also lingering—there's certainly less of it at least, a haze still lingering over the go-karts, one whirlpool lingering out in the sea. It could be worse, surely.
Though there's no new locations for you to take your mind off of all these oddities either. In fact, looking at your device to access the resort map area and scrolling past Kakapo's Nest triggers an error.
There’s one more, slightly more eclectic change: the kittybots, instead of having cute kitty ears and faces, are now without exception round-headed. This would make them look like ordinary robots, but their heads actually now look like a bowl of fish swimming, which occasionally form up into expressions. A change of pace for everything, it seems.

[MURDER!!! GOOD FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!!!!]
It would be better than the arts and crafts table he set up, anyways.

[...Lobelia says, knowing full well any poetry Vergilius might write would only depress those who remain on the island. Sounds like a grand idea if you ask him.]

[PLEASE GET HIM OUT OF GRAVEYARD]

[Everyone understand? Good. The one other person who speaks French in this accursed graveyard is probably going to die a second time upon hearing Lobelia recite his lovely poem that totally wasn't written by ChatGPT™, but everyone else can rest assured that this is a fine work of art meant to bolster their spirits. Enjoy!]

Thank you for putting his studies to the test, Lobelia.]
My, my, my. That was delightfully corny, especially coming from you.

With an emphasis on delightful, of course! I did my best to frame your plight as an epic tale of struggle and triumph over the evil oiseaux! Feel free to recite my poème sans égal to the rest of your flock to bolster their spirits.

Unfortunately, I think they would gag me before I could finish translating it for them. Mm, and I wouldn't really call them my flock anymore.
no subject
Non? So you've given up all pretenses, then? Quelle tournure délicieuse! You're a cautionary tale for any man of the cloth if ever there was one.

[And yet he sounds so proud about it.]
Is it truly so much of a surprise to you, though? I've no doubt you've been watching.
