Throughout your time on the island, there's been a steady rhythm; the murders, the trials, the executions, the clean-up afterwards that leave just up remnants for you to remember what was lost. This Monday morning though, things are different. The debris and any biohazards are cleared, but no effort has been made to repair the games at the arcade, or to restock the chemicals and damaged equipment at the laboratory.

Odd.

If you cast your eyes to the sky, you'll also notice that the distortion is also lingering—there's certainly less of it at least, a haze still lingering over the go-karts, one whirlpool lingering out in the sea. It could be worse, surely.

Though there's no new locations for you to take your mind off of all these oddities either. In fact, looking at your device to access the resort map area and scrolling past Kakapo's Nest triggers an error.

There’s one more, slightly more eclectic change: the kittybots, instead of having cute kitty ears and faces, are now without exception round-headed. This would make them look like ordinary robots, but their heads actually now look like a bowl of fish swimming, which occasionally form up into expressions. A change of pace for everything, it seems.

[ Xiao sees Temenos' gaze and nods. No point in delaying this any longer. He will add onto what's being said: ]

Beelzebub sent me a message yesterday with a similar sentiment. I understand that it is a big ask to get us all to cooperate, but if nothing else, it will help each of us get closer to our own survival.

To add to that, he also emphasized that finding Skywarp and Nona's killers, as well as channeling hostility towards Billy, will not help anyone. The only people running this show are the two admins themselves. Not the island – the admins.

I promised Beelzebub that this game stops with us, and I believe it will. We do not need to be friends, but I would still like to make amends where I can. My frustrations over the past few days have been misplaced. I'm here to cooperate.

[With that out there, Temenos nods in agreement.]

As much as I hate to leave mysteries unsolved, we need to shift our priorities. If our time is as limited as the administrators claimed, we must find it within ourselves to cooperate so we can all get out of here.

[plunges]

[ A small nod in Temenos' direction. He's in full agreement. ]

If we can undo the deaths that have been done, then who killed who will cease being of material relevance.

[ Except in Nona's case, but she doesn't want to disrupt the support they are attempting to build here. It's a bitter surprise that can await the others later. ]

That is not the same as justice and not the same as forgiveness, but it is a goal to reach to that benefits us all.

[plunges]

Yes. That's a matter for another day, for those who want to pursue it. Now is not the time.

[ He wants to know for the sake of knowing, but that's just Xiao being selfish. Like Lacus said, it won't matter in the grand scheme of things if they can revive the dead and leave. ]

[He's come to learn that there are things far more important than discovering the truth. If everyone can manage to bring the dead back, then that is the goal he would much rather pursue.]

[He isn't happy about the idea of just leaving deaths unsolved, but hey, if this works, Skywarp and Nona can take it up with their own individual killers.

[ He doesn't necessarily like what Billy did, obviously! But the apology was made, Xiao does genuinely regret what happened, and he honestly thinks they're lucky that Billy shared what he did yesterday, even if it may not be everything. ]

Ah, but imagine how much power would come from you somehow managing to get back in our good graces.

[There's a mild bit of sarcasm to his voice, but...he shrugs. There are good people on the other side that don't deserve to fade away.]

It's still interesting seeing so many doubt, but I do have the upper hand knowing stories of him already.

I should have probably shared the stories about him, but it doesn't quite feel like my place. That and the stories doesn't do his looks justice. They keep depicting him as an old man.
