Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

[ Hello it's time for depression investigation

Anyway after the Athos fiasco, Xiao shows up to look around. Is there anything on the arrow pads? Footprints, maybe? ]

[killerwaves]

[ Well. Xiao would have noticed the lights were blown out (broken, likely contributing to the glass on the floor) so it's hard to see details unless he's grabbing a light. ]

[plunges]

[ This is what I get for rushing. Anyway uh, he'll try to use the light from his U-pinion! If there's no flashlight then the light from his screen, maybe? ]

[killerwaves]

[ That works! It's not like pitch dark in here because there are windows but it's not exactly the place for much natural lighting (also the windows are broken but not completely shattered), but it is a bit dark to just go by what sunlight is streaming in. Anyway, there's no other details from the dance machines other than in general this corner seems to have born the brunt of the damage and as mentioned, there's seating here for spectators.

Since he's looking around though he'll notice damage to the one of the flat screen tvs on a nearby wall. ]

[plunges]

[ OKAY, just gonna take a picture of the damage to the tv (with flash). What sort of damage are we talking about, here? Shattered glass everywhere, a few cracks...? ]

[killerwaves]

[ Well. The flatscreen is splattered with blood, and it is cracked, though we'll note that the blood pattern isn't centered over the cracks. There's also two things to see along the ground too, so watch your step. ]

[plunges]

[ Let's look at what's on the ground first, then. What does Xiao find? ]

[killerwaves]

[ He sees one large puddle of what appears to be water, that's starting to mix on its ends with a pool of blood. ]

[plunges]

[ Yikes. Were these directly under the tv?

Also, is there a centralized point for the cracks? If so, what's the diameter of it? ]

[killerwaves]

[ Yup!

There's no centralized point for the cracks, it looks consistent with the rest of the shattered glass in the arcade which is essentially shattered all to hell. ]

[plunges]

[ Hm. Don't like that! Time to snap a photo of the puddle.

He's going to use his U-Pinion and look around elsewhere. Any other areas in this arcade that stand out? ]

[killerwaves]

[ Some general notes about the arcade is that there's various debris around, whether it's from decorations having fallen from the walls, or various other effects in the arcade and a fine layer of dust covering everything.

Using his u-pinion xiao will catch a glint of something in a pile of knocked over drink cups. ]

[plunges]

[ The arcade will never know peace.

Where are the drink cups? How many are there? And what's the glint? ]

[killerwaves]

[ These drink cups are closer to the entrance. As for the number, usually there's a tower of them here so there's quite a bit on the floor.

And the glint is... a bloody scalpel! ]

[plunges]

[ Oh boy! Wonderful!!! Is it just kinda haphazardly thrown into the cup pile? Or does it look like it was intentionally buried underneath, that sort of thing...?

He'll snap a photo before uh, grabbing one of the cups and placing it in there. He'll bring it to trial for examination. ]

[killerwaves]

[ The former! Cheap plastic cups aren't great for hiding metal objects for sure. ]

[plunges]

[ Got it. Anything else of note about the inside of the arcade?

Also, quick clarification about the puddle: Is the water puddle positioned so it's right next to the blood puddle, and the two are fusing that way? ]

[killerwaves]

[ Nope!

Also yes, well the water puddle is pretty big, and water spreads, so it looks like there's some mixing going on just by nature of water being water. ]

[plunges]

[ Understood. We're outie, then.
