Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

If he's looking for the most damaged area, that's in one of the corners of the arcade that nominally houses some seating for onlookers who want to watch other people try their feet at DDR. These dance machines have had their screens completely blown out, hopefully Shuda has shoes on and not sandals because there is understandably a lot of glass here. ]

so what is going on with these machines, why have you ruined his life like this]

[ They've been pushed around from their usual positions like all the other machines, though these have definitely been pushed the farthest. As far as damage goes, it's completely shattered screens. ]

[THANKS HE LOVES THIS except not, so aside from the shattered screens, what else is going on here....]

[ There's something going on by one of the flatscreens but Xiao is over there, so maybe he wants to take a look outside? ]

[Works for him. So what is going on outside that he should check out?]

[ Shuda has found a bloodtrail! It starts at the entrance/exit of the arcade where it's pretty heavy, and it leads to the railways, getting consistently lighter as it goes. ]

[We love to see it except not.

So it looks like it was coming from the arcade, then? Does it stop before it actually reaches the railway?]

[ Yup! It stops just before the railway and it doesn't look abrupt, more like it tapered off. Oddly though, at it's lightest point there's a puddle of blood that's smeared that manages to cross a bit into the railway proper. ]

[Time for some photos. In which direction is it smeared? Inquiring minds want to know.]

[ In the direction leading to the railway, spilling over a bit to the railway itself. ]

[HMM. Any sort of prints or identifying marks in the smears?]

[ Nope. ]

[ Hello it's time for depression investigation

Anyway after the Athos fiasco, Xiao shows up to look around. Is there anything on the arrow pads? Footprints, maybe? ]

[ Well. Xiao would have noticed the lights were blown out (broken, likely contributing to the glass on the floor) so it's hard to see details unless he's grabbing a light. ]

[ This is what I get for rushing. Anyway uh, he'll try to use the light from his U-pinion! If there's no flashlight then the light from his screen, maybe? ]

[ That works! It's not like pitch dark in here because there are windows but it's not exactly the place for much natural lighting (also the windows are broken but not completely shattered), but it is a bit dark to just go by what sunlight is streaming in. Anyway, there's no other details from the dance machines other than in general this corner seems to have born the brunt of the damage and as mentioned, there's seating here for spectators.

Since he's looking around though he'll notice damage to the one of the flat screen tvs on a nearby wall. ]

[ OKAY, just gonna take a picture of the damage to the tv (with flash). What sort of damage are we talking about, here? Shattered glass everywhere, a few cracks...? ]

[ Well. The flatscreen is splattered with blood, and it is cracked, though we'll note that the blood pattern isn't centered over the cracks. There's also two things to see along the ground too, so watch your step. ]

[ Let's look at what's on the ground first, then. What does Xiao find? ]

[ He sees one large puddle of what appears to be water, that's starting to mix on its ends with a pool of blood. ]

[ Yikes. Were these directly under the tv?

Also, is there a centralized point for the cracks? If so, what's the diameter of it? ]

[ Yup!

There's no centralized point for the cracks, it looks consistent with the rest of the shattered glass in the arcade which is essentially shattered all to hell. ]

[ Hm. Don't like that! Time to snap a photo of the puddle.

He's going to use his U-Pinion and look around elsewhere. Any other areas in this arcade that stand out? ]

[ Some general notes about the arcade is that there's various debris around, whether it's from decorations having fallen from the walls, or various other effects in the arcade and a fine layer of dust covering everything.

Using his u-pinion xiao will catch a glint of something in a pile of knocked over drink cups. ]
