INVESTIGATION

Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

[ It doesn't seem like it's focusing on anything of any note, aside from trying to get the skele off.

It actually kind of seems like the opposite – like he's more lucid and aware now than he's been basically the entire time they've been on the island. ]

[ As he says this, he tries to visually pinpoint any places where Athos is hurt. Is it concentrated in one place maybe? ]

[ The wounds look like they're fairly all over him, actually. Most notable is that he seems to be favoring one of his hind legs, but he's also got a good amount of claw and bite marks that seem to be bleeding. ]

[ Alright, let him shoot out a quick text to the network. ]

athos appears to be bleeding
is there's anyone here who can heal ligers?

[ In the meantime, wow, he's sure been in a fight, huh? How big are these claw and bite marks? Like...on a scale of chihuahua to Great Dane.

And why is he favoring one of his hind legs? He's gonna move so he can get a better look at them. ]

[ Without getting a bit closer it might be a little hard to exactly gauge it, but the claw marks are big cat sized, about? And the bite looks elliptical in shape, with the total diameter lengthwise being about 40mm.

The leg, on the other hand, is harder to gauge as to why he's favoring it, but any closer investigation will get Athos to try snapping at him. ]

[ Poooossibly self-inflicted maybe? Not sure, but he'll keep that thought in the back of his mind. He's gonna try his best to take some pictures of all this without aggravating Athos too much. Like, yeah, he could fight him, but also he super does not want to.

Oof okay, gonna wait on backup for the leg then. Sorry Athos, this has got to suck a lot. ]

[ give him a while, and crea makes his way to the go-kart area. he notices ibuki and athos, and begins to slow down so as to not scare the animal any further. ]

You guys took a look good at the wounds, right? This may be necessary evidence for the trial.

[She's still sorting out the other evidence at the moment, but she looks up, prepared to call her skeleton off if needed.]

I took pictures as many pictures as I could from this distance. But he growls whenever I try to get close enough to examine his legs... He's clearly favoring one of his hind ones, so I think he's injured there. Or maybe there's something in his paws?

Ugh, this sounds like it's gonna be a pain...

[ well, if athos bites him, he can heal.

he raises his arm as his hand is surrounded by a blue flame, and he slowly approaches the area with more bites and scratches. ]

[ jumping in to help crea more like crea jumping in to grab ibuki by the shirt and unceremoniously shove him away with one arm.

and because i rolled the fucking nat 20, he's going to dodge athos and reach out again.

Don't go getting yourself killed unnecessarily! [ and to athos, as if the creature can understand him: ] Stop fighting back!

except this was a nat 1 roll so he lands towards in the overturned go-kart somehow

[ He just growls, baring his teeth at Crea as he gets yelled at. His teeth are goopy and red, if that makes you feel any better. ]
