INVESTIGATION

Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

and because i rolled the fucking nat 20, he's going to dodge athos and reach out again.

except this was a nat 1 roll so he lands towards in the overturned go-kart somehow

[ He just growls, baring his teeth at Crea as he gets yelled at. His teeth are goopy and red, if that makes you feel any better. ]

either way, crea's going to try and change his approach? he'll turn off his ability, stretching his hands out palm first. maybe if he shows that he doesn't want...? to hurt??? him??? ]

Anyway it continues to growl at him, but doesn't at least go for him again, what with Quin's skeleboi still on him. But it's extremely tenuous, and that could change at any moment.

Make it quick, boyos. ]

[ don't mind if he fucking does.

reaching for an area with wounds, he'll activate his ability and begin healing the wounds, all the while praying to the god he doesn't believe in that he's not torn to ribbons. ]

[ To Athos' credit, he stays right where he is as Crea heals him. He's still growling, but it's something, at least. ]

[ ugh thank god. he'll just continue healing the wounds, then, as long as the liger doesn't see him as a chew toy. ]

You're okay. It's okay. [ let's not look at the severed arm. ] We're not going to hurt you.

The wounds heal normally with little fanfare, including the leg he's been favoring this whole time! He doesn't really seem happy, but this seems to be enough that he's willing to put up with you guys a bit longer.

... for now, at least. ]

he'll slowly take a few steps back, away from the liger. ]

Athos is healed. I saw that it had some red in its teeth, so I'm thinking he might've bitten someone recently. Pro'lly whoever Alice's attacker was.

Got it, thanks for helping, Crea. I really appreciate it.

[ Ibuki finally gets the go-kart off of him, looking a little worse for the wear. He definitely didn't get out unscathed, having crashed into, well, a go-kart. But at least Crea's quick thinking and luck saved him from a particularly disastrous bite or claw wound! What a small blessing.

He takes out his U-PINION, fiddles with the screen a bit, and sighs. Hopefully this will be okay. Time to raise his U-PINION as slowly as possible, ready to take more pictures. ]

That's one theory, yeah... Time to see if he can show us what else happened.

[ Okay, can he finally get a better look at his legs now? Even if the wounds are healed, is there something matted in the fur or something? ]

[ He can get closer, though Athos will be watching him very carefully. Maybe luckily, there doesn't seem to be anything matted in the fur on his legs. ]

Excuse me, Athos...

[ Cool, cool, he'll be as slow as possible with his movements.

What about the paws then? Probably too much to ask to shake, but how are those and his claws? ]

[ Also damage/scarring free, and there doesn't seem to be anything caught in them.

The claws are all intact, with nothing snagged on them or chipped. ]

[ Hmm, and the horns and tail? Here's kinda hoping his ribbon is still there. That was cute. ]

How are you feeling now?

[ Ibuki's not gonna roll to pet, but at least let him stare at his mane too. ]

[ All in good condition! The ribbons on the tail and the white thing on his forehead are also intact. ]

Are you feeling sleepy? Why don't you rest?

[ He'll be taking pictures of all the above as he goes along. Hopefully it should be fine since he was taking both pre-Crea and post-Crea ones.

AND ONE LAST THING (probably), is he gonna like yawn or something anytime soon? Or will they just have to make do without a picture of his mouth. ]

But we can say that yeah, once the growling kind of subsides and he just kind of chills a bit, he yawns at some point before you have to leave. The red probable-blood mentioned earlier is still on full displaey her, but there's also a good shot of some black debris stuck in his teeth. ]

Thanks for cooperating, Athos! Ibuki doesn't mind if the liger calmly follows him, but uh, if he doesn't, let's just leave him to have a nice nap. If it's the latter, he'll be sure to drop off some water before they all have to go to trial later. ]
