Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

[ Thank you, Neet. He will wait a bit longer before taking off the mask to be sure. Let's look at the chemistry looking mishaps. This won't go wrong, right? ]

[ Absolutely not!

Since he's starting with the mishaps, he'll spot one bottle and one broken vial on the floor. ]

[ Time to pull the flap phone out and take some pics. Are there any labels on the bottle or broken vial? Any liquid or stains by there? ]

[ Thankfully there are labels on both these things.

The bottle reads sodium hypochlorite, and is open, though there's nothing seeping from it as present as its in a solid state, not much left in the bottle. The broken vial reads hydrochloric acid , with only a few drops of liquid clinging to the glass.

The two containers are on the floor within close distance to each other that could have resulted in spillage, but there's nothing on the floor at present. ]

[ He's a cultivator not a scientist. While he will note it, he's going to leave the investigating the chemicals to the prettiest snake ever and her person.

Instead he's going to check out the destruction part of the lab. How are we looking? ]

[ Chengsheng is a good girl.

So, destruction. In general the lab has seen much better days. There's equipment knocked over and displaced everywhere, shattered glass from various glassware, and one of the storage cabinets has a giant bloody dent in it. ]

[ I'm assuming you didn't decide to take on Billy's accent here with the bloody part. How big is this bloody dent anyways? He's taking a picture of it with his hand next to it to compare. ]

[ It is in fact, physically bloody not just British.

Comparing it against his hand it's a bit larger than his hand but not by a huge amount. ]

What kind of dent are we talking about? Round, sharp, or creased? Something complex?

Is there any objects that could have made the dent? ]

[ The dent is round in shape, but not perfectly spherical or anything, though it's certainly not sharp. It has some creasing from the amount of force that went into it, which is a significant amount given by how much the metal of the cabinet is warped. And by how much blood there is, as it's nowhere in the neighborhood of a quick splatter or anything like that.

As for any objects that could have made the dent, most of the things in the lab are either oddly shaped, or very fragile like glass. ]

[ How would it compare to someone's head? If he looked at Lacus' or Baizhu's head for a size comparison (by using his eyeballs and looking he's not going to ask them to stand next to the not british dent)?

What about the blood? Where does the blood trail go? ]

[ It's not large enough to match either one of his investigation buddies heads, as it's a bit smaller than that. Also a slight correction in that its more oval shaped (height size longer), width size a bit larger than his fist if he were to use it to compare.

The blood trail leads to the freezer which has a bloody fingerprints on it, fun! ]

[ This doesn't help at all with his dumb theory that someone took a face to the cabinet. Just smaller face.

Oh! Fun! Time to take pictures of the bloody, and not british, fingerprints. He will compare their size to his own. How does it look? ]

[ Pretty close to his own actually! It's not a perfect match because that would be weird, but definitely close. Also because I can't read the prints are on the handle of the freezer. ]

Is there spillage anywhere else, or some obvious place these would have come from?]

[ First of all is Baizhu wearing protective equipment just in being here?

We're assuming you mean the chemicals Wang Lu found, in which case it looks like someone was doing some chemistry on the nearby bench. The science kind of bench not the kind Tenn eats. ]

[...Yes, we're deciding that Wang Lu warned him, so Baizhu and Changsheng have some measure of protective gear on right now. Masks and gloves, and close toe-d shoes!

also yes, those chemicals. Do they look like they fell off, or thrown, is there any kind of indication of that?]

[ Somewhere, a fish smiles down upon you. Thank you for respecting lab safety!

They look like they could have fallen off given their positioning and how they both spilled open/broke. While he's here though, he will noticed an in tact beaker on the bench with a liquid inside. ]

[He's going to use the nifty Kamera to get a picture of the glass on the floor's orientation to the desk first, then check if the liquids match the liquid in the floor glassware? Or another liquid on the bench?]

[ So on the floor is the bottle of sodium hypochlorite, in a solid state, there's a bit left in the container but it looks like most of it would have spilled out. The vial containing the hydrochloric acid is shattered and a result, pretty much empty. There's not any liquid or substance on the floor where the two substances would presumably have met, but the orientation is close enough where some mixing likely did happen.

And to be clear there's two objects out on the bench: one a bottle of acetone, and the other the beaker with a clear liquid inside. ]

[ Is the acetone closed or would a professor fish be screaming that they're letting it evaporate into the air?

Does the unidentified liquid show any kind of reaction while it's sitting there? No bubbling, visible signs along the inner edge that it was evaporating, no substrate that precipitated over time from the (potential) solution cooling off?]

[ It's open so it sure is evaporating slowly but surely.

And nope, there's no visible reactions from the mystery liquid, and no substrates or precipitates in the liquid. ]
