Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

[...Yes, we're deciding that Wang Lu warned him, so Baizhu and Changsheng have some measure of protective gear on right now. Masks and gloves, and close toe-d shoes!

also yes, those chemicals. Do they look like they fell off, or thrown, is there any kind of indication of that?]

They look like they could have fallen off given their positioning and how they both spilled open/broke. While he's here though, he will noticed an in tact beaker on the bench with a liquid inside. ]

[He's going to use the nifty Kamera to get a picture of the glass on the floor's orientation to the desk first, then check if the liquids match the liquid in the floor glassware? Or another liquid on the bench?]

[ So on the floor is the bottle of sodium hypochlorite, in a solid state, there's a bit left in the container but it looks like most of it would have spilled out. The vial containing the hydrochloric acid is shattered and a result, pretty much empty. There's not any liquid or substance on the floor where the two substances would presumably have met, but the orientation is close enough where some mixing likely did happen.

And to be clear there's two objects out on the bench: one a bottle of acetone, and the other the beaker with a clear liquid inside. ]

[ Is the acetone closed or would a professor fish be screaming that they're letting it evaporate into the air?

Does the unidentified liquid show any kind of reaction while it's sitting there? No bubbling, visible signs along the inner edge that it was evaporating, no substrate that precipitated over time from the (potential) solution cooling off?]

[ It's open so it sure is evaporating slowly but surely.

And nope, there's no visible reactions from the mystery liquid, and no substrates or precipitates in the liquid. ]

Are there any marks on the glass, like the bloody fingerprints Wang Lu found over yonder?]

[ None marks! ]

[If Baizhu gently swirls the mystery liquid, will it tell him any of its secrets? Precipitates, color changes, puff of poison smoke?]

[ Nope. Well, swirling it will lead some of it to evaporate actually, but that's about it.

Baizhu is doing his best though. ]

[If the air wasn't questionable and the chemicals even moreso, he might try and waft the air above towards him to smell it, but alas. Sounds like a Bad Time(tm).

Before he starts considering the less safe chemical practices, is there anything else of note? Drawers left eschew, cabinets, anything in garbage cans or the hood?]

[ He's valid.

Nothing else left to note in chemistry land. ]

[He snaps some more pictures then, and also looks for a cap to put on the different open containers. Especially wants one for the Mystery Liquid.

Is there also a box that he can take the sealed glassware with him in...? Maybe it'll come in handy in trial]

[ He can find a cap to top it off with! and a box too for shady.
