Good Mourning. Unlike the previous weeks, there's no musical serenade to greet you, just the ambient sounds of the island and the stirrings of those you spent the night with, if you were the type to want company. For those of you on certain islands, the background thrum (and siren laments, for those unlucky) of the warp phenomenon may also have sung you to sleep; but will they sing you to waking? You know how this goes by now, so is anything on this of all mornings really comforting? And is everyone you spent the night with still with you...?

Indeed, the not-so-dulcet tones of the ever-present haze fill the morning; you may not want it accounted for, but here it is nevertheless.

[ Lacus is here, rubbing some sleep for her eyes. She is going to immediately check for Nona specifically. If Nona's here, she's going to get a gentle touch to the shoulder. If not... well. welp. ]

[Nona is not in the cabana.]

[ Instead of looking alarmed about this, Lacus finds herself just staring down at her hands for a moment. ]

... so you snuck out, huh?

[ There's an unsurprised sentimentality about it. ]

[ Right next to Haruka, where he should be! ]

[ Sorry, Haruka.

Xiao rises to his feet immediately and starts making his way towards the door. Unlike Lacus, he is starting to panic a little, and he'll welcome Haruka's company.

What's the resort looking like, when he steps foot outside? ]

[ likewise, crea is running out the door and towards the planetarium or whatever is left of it. nona liked the stars. maybe she's still there. maybe she was still trying to talk to the stars. ]

[Crea will find none-a your wayward Dodo (on the way to Dodo), but he'll also notice that the Sungem-to-Dodo railway isn't exactly intact. In fact, there's some debris blocking the road and some parts where the structural integrity is a bit precarious the closer he gets to Dodo's Outlook.]

[ well that's fucked up. ok next place... infirmary? ]

[He will find one (1) Baizhu (alive), but other than that the infirmary is untouched.]

[ Lacus is a lot slower about leaving, but she's headed to the garden. ]

The garden's appearance looks...off. As if something went down here. But, there is a single Haro remaining... ]

[ She wasn't panicking before. She really was not panicking before, but... ]

[ Before leaving here, she's going to check in with Orange Haro - is she still functional or did smth Bad happen here? ]

[Haruka is going to follow Xiao, because someone needs to be the emotional support idol right now.]

[ A deep breath. Lacus smoothes out her hair a little and gets to her feet. ]

I think we should prepare ourselves for the worst.

[ He catches that just before he leaves, but he's hyper focused, so he doesn't say anything in response.

He's with you on that, though, Lacus. ]

[Someone is immediately pushing from the floor to the crate of snacks at the side of the room instead of headcounting, but at least he's here!]

[Okay once he has successfully stuffed his face and realized which scent in the room is missing--

Is Noodle in here, or is Noodle also gone?]

Some good news this morning. ]

[Does Dodo Cabana look normal otherwise? He's going to check inside, and if that's fine, he's circling around to the outside.]

[ Dodo cabana looks unremarkable inside and outside. Maybe you can play fetch with Noodle and forget about everything else that's going on. ]

He's already wiping at his eyes (don't look at him, Noodle), fists balling up as he heads towards the book cafe while everyone splits in multiple directions. Anything going on over here?]
