21 Vacationers

The weekend sure was something, wasn't it? Tempers flared, explosions burst, and some were treated to an immersive sand bath experience. Come Monday at least, things seem quieter though not in the unnatural still way—the distortions on the islands have receded sometime in the night (with some impressive firework-like booms that may have stirred your sleep, at that; and the waves seem a little higher this morning) and the various amenities on the island have been made orderly again. Though, as always, some traces remain in the landscape; the waterfall looks like it has seen better days, though it's no longer in danger of coughing up debris on your head if looked at wrong.

This week like the rest brings new locations for you to explore, on Kakapo's Nest though it seems like only one of them really fits the vacation vibe. Hope you like snow!

Hm, I suppose both have the same level of... unpredictability? If it's someone from above, that throws all the carefully laid plans out of whack. If it was someone below, there's probably a limit to what information they know and what they can tamper with.

Recalling our arrival to this place, they did say they weren't alone in the beginning. However, their numbers had dwindled down to the two of them before they brought us in.

But they also weren't original inhabitants of this place. Perhaps whatever entity that owns these outposts has caught wind of the situation.

When I spoke to Overhaul in the first week, he mentioned that those who were with them on the island upon arrival were those left over when the island stability collapsed - they were people without administrative power and they were hostile because they'd already been subjected to death, it seems.

If it was the bottle, more people would have suffered. They could have dumped it in a random drink when they were grabbing their own.

The only other way was Wei Wuxian drank something after he left me that night.
