21 Vacationers

The weekend sure was something, wasn't it? Tempers flared, explosions burst, and some were treated to an immersive sand bath experience. Come Monday at least, things seem quieter though not in the unnatural still way—the distortions on the islands have receded sometime in the night (with some impressive firework-like booms that may have stirred your sleep, at that; and the waves seem a little higher this morning) and the various amenities on the island have been made orderly again. Though, as always, some traces remain in the landscape; the waterfall looks like it has seen better days, though it's no longer in danger of coughing up debris on your head if looked at wrong.

This week like the rest brings new locations for you to explore, on Kakapo's Nest though it seems like only one of them really fits the vacation vibe. Hope you like snow!

...She looked like she was looking for something, and was in a frenzy about it. At least, that's what it looked like. There was definitely a fight at the snow zone, and a trail to the planetarium, but it wasn't like... when everyone's been getting murdered and the whole island is blown to smithereens and the go-karts are fucked.

There’s a drug where I’m from that does somethin’ along those lines. If a Supe shoots up some, it’ll enhance their powers. Too much of that one’ll just give a bloke a heart attack, not make ‘em a fuckin’ explosion.

I'm inclined to think it's someone higher up if they have access to the nice amenities and also to like, the main headquarters, since this is supposed to just be an outpost.

It might be worth it to try to investigate the planetarium again now that the dust has settled. There is no guarantee that what she was looking for is still there — or ever was there — but it seems like a possible lead.
