What started with a week promising relaxation turned into something else entirely. It might be nice to try to grab a quiet moment after the whirlwind of the weekend, but there's something to be said about keeping up the momentum too.The island open to you this week, Dodo's Outlook, seems to have that in mind, or at the very least, keeping your mind occupied. All damage to the island buildings has been fixed by Monday morning at least, but noticeably there are less palm trees than before where the damage was the heaviest. Explorers too will find that the area behind the waterfall has been completely sealed off with solid rock.

Whether you're the type to commune with the nature of marine life in the aquarium, the cosmos in the planetarium, or to spin your own tale in the theater, there's plenty to do and enjoy. As always there's task to complete too, and after all you've been through by now, what's a little more bonding in the pursuit of prizes?

Well, I don't dislike the crowd. I find it hard to eat alone anyway.

I was used to it once, but I must admit I'm much more pleased to be surrounded by company, on occasion.

[Especially when the company can include good fun.]

Do be sure you tick off all your little boxes so the taskgivers can tell you know how to do all your tricks. [She gestures at the instruments and the horoscopes themselves...though she doesn't have anything to point to to represent a camera, that one's implied.]

Mm, I don't mind company in general. So I think I can understand that.

[ A light bulb goes off in his mind when she says that. Right, he meant to do some of the tasks this week as well. ]

Ah, yes, we can do something to commemorate the occasion... After all, as one of the hosts, I do consider that my duty.

[Though she doesn't get close enough to lean on or touch him, she does move enough into his space that they can begin working out a pose.]

[ His savior for two weeks! And since she's not Yuuki, she's safe from personal space invasion. Anyway, he takes out his U-PINION and starts up the camera function, bringing it up at an angle so it captures the party background as well as them. ]

Sure, got it. What do they say here...cheese?

Hahaha, if a captive beast doesn't perform to expectations, what do you think they'll do with it? Hahahah...!

[Ibuki might get the feeling that the tasks no longer feel much like a game to her, but rather, in their own way, an act of controlling something she otherwise can't.]

Ah...Isn't it cheers? [But she's still having a little unhinged giggle, here, so the photo will at least catch her looking as if she is happy.]

[ Suddenly his eyes seem to go glassy, as if he's thinking back on something. But it goes away when he blinks. ]

[ Ibuki's smile drops, but he manages to recover enough to smile for the camera when they finally take the photo. ]

[ Totally, nothing off about them at all, they're both as lovely as ever in a completely normal-looking photo. ]

[ He lowers his arm to let her see the resulting screen on his U-PINION. Thoughts? ]

[She turns her gaze down to the screen and ponders the photo in slow silence for a drawn out moment.]

Perfect! I think this captures the precise spirit of this event exactly. Don't you?

[Their superficial, absurd joy where it doesn't belong.]

Was there anything in particularly you enjoyed preparing for this event?

Let's see... I've been feeling terribly restless, and it gave me something to do with my hands. I got a firsthand vantage of that distortion spreading across the island. Zelkov's concoctions are refreshingly invigorating, though that's irrelevant to the setup.

[Waltaquin holds her chin in her hand, pondering.]

Some people are very good at covering up what's rotten. I think that's what it feels like.

I see, like doing something while you think things through. As for the distortion, it does beg the question of what it's trying to distort to.

[ He actually smiles at that, airy and ethereal. ]

Isn't that just humans in general?
