What started with a week promising relaxation turned into something else entirely. It might be nice to try to grab a quiet moment after the whirlwind of the weekend, but there's something to be said about keeping up the momentum too.The island open to you this week, Dodo's Outlook, seems to have that in mind, or at the very least, keeping your mind occupied. All damage to the island buildings has been fixed by Monday morning at least, but noticeably there are less palm trees than before where the damage was the heaviest. Explorers too will find that the area behind the waterfall has been completely sealed off with solid rock.

Whether you're the type to commune with the nature of marine life in the aquarium, the cosmos in the planetarium, or to spin your own tale in the theater, there's plenty to do and enjoy. As always there's task to complete too, and after all you've been through by now, what's a little more bonding in the pursuit of prizes?

[ in the early hours of the morning before the sun gets too hot, josh can be found on the rooftop of toucan cabana, playing with his phone (his orange one, not his u-pinion, if anyone is sharp-eyed enough). he's more interested in people watching the rest of the vacationers who are walking by, but he's more than happy to float down for a chat if actively approached. there is also a non-zero chance that he might just bean you on the head with a small trinket of some sort because he thinks it's funny, in a stunning call-back to what he was doing on week 2.

there's also a severe lack of shopping options in the resort, so josh can be found loitering near the gift shop and boutique and browsing through whatever is still left there. strangely, aside from the regular white/pink/gray type of clothes that he may have been seen wearing throughout the weeks here, some of the pieces and items that josh is picking up trend brighter. quite a bit of purple in there, too.

when it's too hot to be out in the afternoon, josh can be found at the arcade, defaulting to his regular choice of first-person-shooter-killing-zombie arcade games. there is room for a partner/player 2, if anyone wants to join~

later in the evening he can be found at the waterfall, and there is a trend here in joshua liking high places because he can be found hovering just off the top of the waterfall right as the sun sets, as if he's debating on whether to actually take the plunge.

and because i'm determined to have him make a circuit around all the islands in one day (rip) at night, josh makes his appearance known at the ballroom, where he's made a beeline straight for the grand piano and is playing a piano approximation of this song. once he's bored of tinkering with the grand piano, he can be found messing with the speaker system of the stage theatre and the various backing tracks that they're offering playing over the speakers. there's a common thread - all the tracks that he lets play to the end all have a koto playing prominently either in the melody or the bass, and there's something a little bit wistful there. ]

It's not as bad as it seems.

[ ...says Xiao, who's making his way towards where Josh is standing, at the top of the waterfall. ]

That, and it's a pain in the ass to have to climb all the way back up once you're down there.

[ he hates working up a sweat. :/ just for good measure, he'll drop back down next to where xiao is, feet gently touching the ground. ]

Nice to see that you've healed up well.

[ or at least, josh can't see any visible (?) injuries from the weekend on xiao ]

And, yes. I'm better now. Those who assisted worked hard to ensure my recovery. ... I suppose I didn't have to prove my innocence, after all. Lobelia did all the work himself.
