What started with a week promising relaxation turned into something else entirely. It might be nice to try to grab a quiet moment after the whirlwind of the weekend, but there's something to be said about keeping up the momentum too.The island open to you this week, Dodo's Outlook, seems to have that in mind, or at the very least, keeping your mind occupied. All damage to the island buildings has been fixed by Monday morning at least, but noticeably there are less palm trees than before where the damage was the heaviest. Explorers too will find that the area behind the waterfall has been completely sealed off with solid rock.

Whether you're the type to commune with the nature of marine life in the aquarium, the cosmos in the planetarium, or to spin your own tale in the theater, there's plenty to do and enjoy. As always there's task to complete too, and after all you've been through by now, what's a little more bonding in the pursuit of prizes?

[ Wang Lu can be found at the mini aquarium wearing an interesting shirt. He seems lost in thought with his arms crossed as he stares at nothing in particular in the tanks. It takes a moment before he realizes he isn't alone, and he'll give a slow grin at that as he turns to face them. ]

Want to see the funniest thing ever? [ He'll immediately call attention to something in another tank. Or rather a pair of somethings. There are two starfish semi-overlapping each other. Both of them have rather large posteriors. ] I don't think there's anyone here who can beat that.

[ Later, he can be found at the Planetarium reading the daily horoscopes. ]

A temporary separation from your partner could also be disappointing. I wonder who does it mean? [ Here he is without any partners. He'll then point to it, while looking at anyone in the same room. ] Read yours. What does it say?

But yes, I do. I find these predictions a bit...inane, but it would be something different to do, I suppose.

They usually are a bit silly and general to capture a larger audience. Shall we head over to the theater?

I was under the impression that we were meeting for a photograph. Isn't here sufficient?

Not quite romantic and a photo would never turn out in that lighting. At a theater by a piano might be the perfect spot. [ Also he wants to see if he can convince him to play him something ]

Looks like we're twins. We can mourn the separation of our supposed partners together. [ He says that while pointing at the other with a grin. ]

What kind of fortunes are you used to?

[ he kind of does have a partner back home that he's separated from though.... he HOPES it's temporary. ]

One of our allies tells fortunes with cards, though they are always done on an individual basis.

[ though none of those cards are anything like that card lobelia had, thankfully. ]

...I would not have expected us to be under the same sign, if such things truly dictated a person's personality traits.

[ not said condescendingly, but it's pretty clear that they have very different personalities. of course prince alfred is also a leo according to these date ranges, and it doesn't seem far fetched for him to be the same sign as wang lu, so zelkov is thinking he's probably the outlier here. ]

That sounds like tarot cards. I do wonder if we have something like that here.

[ Maybe him and Mags can start offering tarot readings for exchange of something ]

Maybe we have a bit more in common than you think. [ A beat ] Or it could be your moon sign. There's supposed to be more signs depending on the time you were born, I'm afraid my knowledge there is limited. [ He only knows about that stuff because there was games where it was useful for party selection ]

A creative project may require a larger expenditure of money, time, or other resources than you originally thought. This could make you wonder if you will be able to continue with it. It might take some tweaking on your part, but you should be able to complete it as planned.

[ crea tilts his head to the side, confused. ]

I guess things were getting kinda complicated, but isn't this obvious? If things aren't going well, you change your plan of action.

Is there anything you've been working on creatively? Didn't think you were into arts and crafts.

I used to be into crafting for a while! I could sell what I made and make a quick buck or two. It would come in pretty handy on the days that Sii-tan and I needed some money to buy food.

Sounds pretty resourceful. What kinds of things did you make?

[dakicover]

I was pretty decent at working with wood and stone. Little statues and amulets were fun to make, but I could also try and make weapons if I had the right materials available.

[ he nods, looking rather proud of himself. ]

Also things like hunting traps and fishing rods... really, most of what I made was probably for survival and what not.

[ a beat. ]

And also fireworks.

[ ! ]

As tempting as fireworks might be, I was already planning on making something. Have you made a bow before?

Not somethin' I make often. Even if I did, you're givin' me a tall order, considering the lack of proper tools that I got at my disposal.

[ kitchen cutlery isn't the best for carving wood.

he taps his chin. ]

I'd need a week. And you'll have to help me find the wood for it. I dunno if this palm tree wood will be as durable as somethin' like yew or oak, though.

I'm afraid the only tools I have would be kunai and I doubt they would be much better than kitchen knives. Maybe there's someone here that has something better?

[ Maybe they should see if beel or nona can carve wood with their mouths ]

Maybe I can break some of the furniture here? [ Might be worth it ] Let me know if there's anything else you need.

Y'know what? I can work with both those things. For the string I can try to work with a string from the bags that are at the gift shop.
