What started with a week promising relaxation turned into something else entirely. It might be nice to try to grab a quiet moment after the whirlwind of the weekend, but there's something to be said about keeping up the momentum too.The island open to you this week, Dodo's Outlook, seems to have that in mind, or at the very least, keeping your mind occupied. All damage to the island buildings has been fixed by Monday morning at least, but noticeably there are less palm trees than before where the damage was the heaviest. Explorers too will find that the area behind the waterfall has been completely sealed off with solid rock.

Whether you're the type to commune with the nature of marine life in the aquarium, the cosmos in the planetarium, or to spin your own tale in the theater, there's plenty to do and enjoy. As always there's task to complete too, and after all you've been through by now, what's a little more bonding in the pursuit of prizes?

The “sinned,” you say? Do you mean perchance the one sinned against? Or the sin committed itself? It depends on what you’re more likely to feel sorry for.

There is no way to return to the past. You cannot take back the steps you have already taken. Your footprints are etched into the path, marking your way.

So I will accept my choices, carry their consequence, and move forward. There is no guarantee that this next step will be the right one, that my choices won't one day lead to 'evil'. And even so, in stillness nothing grows. A world without choices is a world without dreams.

That's why I believe the way forward is always the favorable option.

Whether you're a sinner or an aggrieved, that answer would not change. There is no atonement that does not benefit the both of you on the path to a future in this world we share.

Technically speaking, atonement is for the sinner. You are making amends for your sins. That does not guarantee that you will ever receive forgiveness from those who were victims of your sins, however.

1. In a word, *passion*. I need something to which I can *wholeheartedly* devote myself, whether that be an important mission with which I have been entrusted or a pursuit that I find personally enriching. Whenever I am working on a project, I try to always leave at least some part of it *unfinished* at the end of the day to ensure that I have a reason to get up the next morning.

2. Such activities hold little interest for me.

3. Ostensibly for both, but I believe the *sinner* is the one who has more to gain. In many cases, those who have had evils committed against them are no longer there to benefit from any sort of atonement in the first place, and to remind those they left behind of what has been *lost* may only bring more suffering. *Restitution* is another matter, but I would consider atonement to be largely for the purpose of assuaging the sinner's own *guilt*.

It doesn't matter. A sinner might not want to be better. Their opposite might not want to hear an apology. Atonement only works if both want the change.

1. Can I get away with saying friends, fun, dreams, a really cool theme park? The knowledge that there's always more to discover? Is that good enough?

3. The sinner, isn't it? Whoever you hurt doesn't need anything from you, and they probably don't want anything from you! So in the end, isn't the idea of atonement pretty selfish? You're just trying to make yourself feel better.

Do whatever you want, try to make things better or up to people or all that if you've realized the error of your ways or something, but no one has to forgive you, and no one has to want to accept whatever apology you're trying to give! Be happy if they do!

3. For the sinner, in my opinion. For the person that was wronged, what do they have to atone for? And what does the sinner's atonement fix for the person that was wronged? Nothing. They were still wronged and deserve to be angry about it if they want to be.

Hello hello, it's me again! Anyway, I was thinking about some of the things people mentioned last week at the swap meet (and even before that) and figured... Why not? I mean, it's not like they've made it so that everyone's started getting the right stuff every week, after all.

So! If you're game, you can respond to this with the kinds of things you're looking for! Who knows, maybe someone out there has what you're looking for and is willing to give it up! If you're comfortable with it you can also list the things you've got to offer and anyone interested might be able to chime in on that, I guess.
