WEEK 3 INVESTIGATION
INVESTIGATION
Good morning, sunshines, sungems, and wild partiers of the night! No matter what kind of night you had, you'll find yourself awakening to an energetic tune blasting out from the island speaker system, one that more than a few of you will recognize -- you won't be able to escape it, but why would you want to?
Music is a great way to start your day, and surely, this is a great omen for Fridays at this resort. There's at least one reason to get up dancing, as the wings of the warp phenomenon have vanished with the morning mist and the sea breeze; Kingfisher's Retreat boasts a beautiful, uninterrupted waterfall that reflects the morning sun once more, and the waves at Sungem's Peak are largely peaceful. Even the customary burst of sound and pressure was a little mollified by the addition of the new soundtrack. You know what that means by now, but hopefully the music will add a pep in your step. (( OOC: Welcome to your second investigation, we hope everyone is enjoying their DD refreshes ☆ ))

There's damage to the bridge, easy to see right away. That would be gaping holes in the wooden slats, like there was a sudden and incredible destructive force applied to them. These are 10-30 feet wide, and 3-5 feet deep. Oh noes! ]

is the damage to the bridge closer to the main resort island side or the seagull's playground side, if he were to walk along the bridge? because he's gonna walk from the main resort island side to take a closer look at the damage i guess! ]

Specifics are not available for bridge size, but it looks like this, and it is larger than a set of subway tracks if that helps for your reference!
This is damage to the bridge that's leading to the Seagull's Playground side, to note, as well. Though it is also along said bridge that leads there, so further along towards the Seagull's Playground there won't be variations in the destruction.
In addition, there will be a winding trail of small drops of blood, on the bridge. Huh! ]

now that he's closer to one of the hole damage (why) is there anything specific that he can tell about the type of damage? like was it caused by heat (scorching?), something massively dropped on the bridge, etc.? he may or may not try to Science this out like he did with the barrier if so :/
ALSO stares down at the blood. okay. josh will take a picture of both the damage to the bridge (what he can get in the frame anyway) and also the blood trail. how small we talking about. like spatters to indicate blood dripping? is it leading in any particular direction? ]
no subject
As for specifics, the damage was definitely not cause by any heat, or anything being dropped on the bridge. There's probably pieces of wood nearby on the ground where these holes are.
The blood trail is definitely 'small drops of blood', akin to blood dripping. They can be followed to the Seagull Playground's side in terms of where they lead. ]

for the record, how far apart/wide are the drips? like. super close together? or is there some distance in between drops etc.? ]
no subject
There is at least a small distance between drops. Also, as he has gone to the playground, presumably following the trail, he can see them lead to the go-kart area. ]
no subject
nice to know that all roads lead to
deaththe go-kart area. he will leave the go-kart team to do their thing but one more clarification on the blood trail because i forgot: at any point does the blood dripping kind of change pattern? get closer/further apart, or is it steady all the way to the go-kart area? is there more blood closer to the go-kart area or does it lead to this /yakety sax musicalso if josh doubles back to the main resort island beach area (which he will do so eventually) would he be able to tell if the sand fiasco and the bridge fiasco are similar kinds of hole damage??? ]
no subject
He can tell that they do look similar, yes (re: sand & bridge fiasco holes.) ]
clarification: blood trails
Once it approaches the track, it will peter out until it becomes more like a trail of droplets like what Waltaquinn saw.]
