Good morning, sunshines, sungems, and wild partiers of the night! No matter what kind of night you had, you'll find yourself awakening to an energetic tune blasting out from the island speaker system, one that more than a few of you will recognize -- you won't be able to escape it, but why would you want to?

Music is a great way to start your day, and surely, this is a great omen for Fridays at this resort. There's at least one reason to get up dancing, as the wings of the warp phenomenon have vanished with the morning mist and the sea breeze; Kingfisher's Retreat boasts a beautiful, uninterrupted waterfall that reflects the morning sun once more, and the waves at Sungem's Peak are largely peaceful. Even the customary burst of sound and pressure was a little mollified by the addition of the new soundtrack. You know what that means by now, but hopefully the music will add a pep in your step.

MAIN RESORT BUILDING: LAUNDRY

[ well, zelkov and lacus are coming back here now that the body question has been answered. what was it we saw when we first stepped in here before? ]

[ The first thing they'd see is the absolute mess the laundry room is in— destroyed washers and dryers and general destruction, but notably, not a single trace of blood.

And if you look up (which you will, considering the sun's streaming through, they'll also see that most of the roof is gone. It kinda looks like someone or something shot through it. ]

[ After world's most emotionally exhausting morning, the atmosphere has settled solidly on 'slightly awkward' and that is the perfect time to investigate.

Lacus is going to be looking at the destroyed machinery - how are they destroyed? Did something drop from above, or were they crushed from the front? Were they even crushed in the first place? ]

[ The washers and dryers look like they've been sheared clean through. Also since it's something general to note, there's also several craters indented in the floor. ]

[idologue]

[ ... alright, what on Earth??

Okay, about those washers and dryers. Let's take a look at the 'cuts' in them - are they even or frazzled? Is there any colored residue etc that could hint at what cut through to begin with? ]

[ It's fine.

And a quick clarification that while the majority of the machines in here have been destroyed, there's a pair of machines on the edge of the generalized destruction that is basically in tact, with something resting on top of it .

As far as the damage goes the damage is rather clean, with no colored residue or any other indications on what wrecked havoc on them. ]

[ Oho. Are those unharmed washers or dryers we're looking at?

Either way, Lacus is coming closer to retrieve whatever object may be here! ]

[ It's... Vergilius'clothes, namely the black ones he usually wears. They're folded neatly, completely blind to all the chaos around them. ]

[idologue]

[ She is growing more confused by the second and she does not like it!!

Lacus is going to unfold these clothes and carefully check them for any oddities, like stains or stuff in pockets, etc.

Do they smell freshly washed, also? ]

[ well, lacus knows machines a lot better than he does, so zelkov will leave those to her and try checking out the roof.

i'm not sure how big the laundry room actually is, so like, what kind of square footage is "most of the roof"? if it looks like something went through it, i guess that means it's more of a distinct hole than just collapsed? what's the rough shape of it like? ]

[ Given that it's communal the laundry room is bigger than your average laundry room in a house, with enough room for two rows of washers and dryers. What this means for the roof is that a good 75% of it is gone, and it does look like something went through it with an intense amount of speed.

The hole isn't distinct enough to tell what went through it, but it doesn't look like it just collapsed either. ]

[ does it appear from the damage at the edges of the hole and the location of the debris that this something came into the room through the roof, or went out through it? ]

[ Based on the debris, looks like it's consistent with something going out through the roof. ]

[ hm. he's going to climb + jump up to the remnants of the rafters or something like the ninja he is to try to get a closer look.... and i guess end up awkwardly staring ibuki in the eye from a few feet away inside.

looking up close at the edges of the hole from this side, is there anything rubbed off on or caught on them that might indicate what exited through here? ]

[ It's totally not awkward if you wave.

And nope, there's nothing rubbed off or caught on the edges of the remains of the roof. Up close it's easier to tell that whatever went through did so much with great speed though. ]

[ Considering Ibuki was already here searching for the goose (RIP), he'll take a deeper look at its remains. Is there a trail he can follow? ]

[ RIP...

Oddly enough, there's not a trail leading away from the goose's remains. He'll notice though that the pile of blood and feathers is close to the area of the main resort where the laundry is, and like Lacus and Zelkov he'll easily be able to see that the roof is mostly gone. ]

[ Hmm, right, that was a thing.

With a high jump and use of his own powers to soften his landing, he'll carefully stand on the more intact part of what's left of the roof. He can always jump away if it's less stable than he thought, but a bird's eye view can't hurt.

What would he see on and through the roof from up here? ]

v[ Careful up there, there's not really much roof for him to be able to move around on it, but he can see more tiles that have seemingly been ejected from the roof around the outside of the main resort building.

He can also look down and see Lacus and Zelkov! Very easily in fact. ]

[ After some thought and a shower of sparkles, Moravia shows up to lighten the weight a little.

She gives a languid wave to Lacus and Zelkov if they notice her, but otherwise she's more interested in figuring out what happened to the goose, so!

Does it look like everything burst forth like a fountain? Or like someone dropped a giant ball in there? ]

[ Tired little wave back! What a morning, what a morning. ]

[ Burst forth like a fountain from the laundry room.

The goose will be happy in the afterlife to know someone was thinking of it, probably. ]

[ Of course, they must crack the case! And Vergilius's too, probably. Moravia did like him quite a bit. She'll have to leave sunglasses wherever he is later.

Anyway, she'll try to float one of the closer tiles over to her. Are they wet? Burnt? ]
