The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

Dear:
How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!

Everyone loves gifts, so this week give one to someone else! It can be a physical gift, a gift from the heart, or any other kind of gift.

Take a Plunge
Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!

That earns her a slight raise of his eyebrow, but far be it from Shuda to question her tastes! He'll just make sure to have plenty of water on hand once it's done.]

"Retire" isn't quite the right word. "Moved up" would be more fitting... in a certain sense. And my next job didn't leave me much time for traveling.

[Hmm, where are the spices... time to take stock of the options.]

[ That is absolutely the plan, if someone gives her the idea about the pictures. She bends to pat a catbot on the head hopefully. ]

What are the spiciest things you can find us?

[ While it's processing that... maybe it will come up with something that gives Shuda inspiration. She peers over at him, making no effort to disguise her curiosity. ]

Oh! Congratulations, then. What do you do now?

[Shuda doesn't really trust the catbots, but if they can save him time on this front, then he supposes he'll yield to their knowledge for the time being. Still going to keep an eye on them, though.]

Back to traveling for now, though more as a bodyguard this time.

[A beat, and then he grimaces slightly, as though remembering something.]

... or a babysitter.

[Life is hard when you're the lone responsible adult trying to herd a bunch of teenagers...]

Protecting people instead of hunting them? I can see why you called it "moving up." You must have your hands full a lot. [ Especially with the babysitting! She stifles a laugh. ] Oh, do you have children, Shuda?

[Okay, that one actually catches him off guard, his eye widening briefly in surprise... and then he gives a soft laugh.]

No. But I'm not against the idea someday.

[Even though he would never even have considered it a year ago.]

Then the babysitting should be good practice.

[ Her grin says she probably knew what he meant, but even so. ]

That's right... you have a girlfriend, don't you? I think you mentioned that at the party.

[God, he hopes babysitting any future kids of his own won't be like babysitting that crew of overgrown children. (affectionate)]

... yeah, but it's been a while since I've seen her. All the more reason to hurry up and finish our journey so I can go back.

Once we get out of here, that is.

More reason to make that faster, too. It's nice to have someone you're fighting to get home to.
