WEEK THREE
WEEK THREE
26 Vacationers
The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.
The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.
!TASKS:
Dear:
How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!
(REWARD: RARE!)
Gifts:
Everyone loves gifts, so this week give one to someone else! It can be a physical gift, a gift from the heart, or any other kind of gift.
(REWARD: RARE!)
Take a Plunge
Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!
(Reward: Common)

(( OOC: Murder proposals are due by Tuesday at 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST, for the current week's murder. Feel free to submit for later weeks too!How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!

REPORT 1/3
EXPERIMENT #Z_12
WEIGHT: 68kg
PROPERTIES: Organic, expired, humanoid
REPORT:
Object was placed into LELANTOS at approximately T06:12:13.000Z. Tracing yielded a 26% synchronization, with retrieval initiated despite synchronization not at mandatory levels.
RESULTS: An inorganic object weighing 850g was retrieved. Object suffered from heavy oxidization.
[ A low quality image follows the text , and a prompt appears: print report? ]

Then onto, presumably, report 2/3. I’m so sorry but he’s gotta get everything he can from this computer.]

EXPERIMENT # Z_13
WEIGHT: 58.9.kg
PROPERTIES: Organic with synthetic part(s), expired, humanoid
REPORT:
Object was placed into LELANTOS at approximately TT05:33:07.000Z. Tracing yielded a 31% synchronization, with retrieval initiated despite synchronization not at mandatory levels.
RESULTS: An organic object weighing 808g was retrieved. Object functioned briefly and emitted heat before going inert after 482 seconds.
[ The picture with this one is also low quality but it might be better than nothing?? ]

Printing out report two, now on to report three to see what (who) got chucked into this LELANTOS.]

WEIGHT: 61.5kg
PROPERTIES: Organic, expired, humanoid
REPORT:
Object was placed into LELANTOS at approximately TT05:34:13.000Z. Tracing yielded a 38% synchronization, with retrieval initiated despite synchronization not at mandatory levels.
RESULTS: A biomass weighing 5.4kg with a precipitation of ice crystals was retrieved.
[ Along with the lovingly rendered picture for this report. And Zelkov shouting but Haruka was out of line of sight for the grape of wrath, luckily. ]

He’s staring at some goop on the wall, which is probably fine?]
…Is everything okay?
[Now, time to go back to the computer and check out the network. Please don’t die, Zelkov.]
no subject
>NETWORK! There's a lot of grayed out boxes on screen here, with numerous other letter and outpost combinations along with a flashing alert. In the middle is a particularly large box titled KRATOS that has lines connecting it all the other outposts but K-4 ]
UNABLE TO TRANSMIT TO MAINFRAME. OUTPOST IS IN RECEIVE MODE ONLY.
SECURITY ALERT: DOOR TO OUTPUT K-4 UNSECURE FOR 7100 seconds
[ The seconds number on the security keeps ticking up along with the actual seconds. ]
no subject
Also that security alert.
Hm.
How long has it been since the beeping started?]

Is there anything else on the computer worth looking at? Or on the office side of the room?]
no subject
Haruka can probably see the screen on Zelkov's side of the room light up though with this countdown. ]

[ as he takes his picture and leaves the goop there to die ]
It is fortunate that you did not find yourself in its trajectory.

[Uwah... Zelkov-san, so cool.]
Have you found anything interesting?
[does he even know what he's found,,]
no subject
[ to the dodging part. it was very cool. ]
It appears that this machine can accept specimens housed in vials, but to what end, I do not know. Perhaps if we insert one we can find out for ourselves.
[ no, but he tried. ]
no subject
...We should probably head out soon, though. There's some sort of security alert that I think started when that beeping did.
[So extra motivation to bounce if there's nothing else for Zelkov to see.]
Was able to print out some weird, sus reports, though!
[Please be proud of him.]
no subject
...Yes, I believe it would be wise to avoid drawing out our time here too much longer.
no subject
[Waving his stack of papers.]
You can read them over once we're out of here.
[Now, time to escape!!]
no subject
[ why not just say that??? he shakes his head. ]
Go ahead to the open door and I will follow behind you.
...Though I believe this should go without saying, please be judicious about with whom you share any details of our findings here.
