The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!

Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!

[ well, this is just zelkov's official onsen wear now by virtue of it being the one thing he can wear in canon that involves a towel around the waist (and because i think it's funny) — though there are absolutely swim trunks underneath it, he is not taking chances with this group.

much like the party the first week, he had no desire to attend, but finally reluctantly came along thanks to another's persuasion. (lacus had a much easier time of it than merlin did, rip.) unfortunately, since there's water involved this time, it's seriously limited his options for things he can bring to distract himself with, so he can't just lose himself in the arts and crafts abyss for 75% of the event like before.

he will just be sitting stiffly in the darkest corner of the onsen for most of this gathering... though for anyone he's on decent terms with, he'll at least make an effort to be amiable. ]

[ Oh no... seeing him looking so sulky she feels a bit guilty for asking him to come. So the least she can do is give him company and not just leave him sitting miserably in the dark. Lacus removes herself from the girl gaggle that she'd been spending her time in before and slowly wades through the water towards Zelkov instead. She's clutching her towel the whole time until she's seated again, because it is wet and heavy now and she respects onsen etiquette too much to put on swimwear... ]

It's so peaceful watching everyone like this...

[ Though she has to glance at the Lobelia and Temenos saga for a second. That's... it's own kind of peace, surely. ]

My apologies; relaxation is not something I have much interest in. [ ... ] But it is, objectively speaking, a pleasant enough gathering.

Relaxing every once in a while is important! I know you like to keep your hands busy, but your body needs to recharge sometime, no?

Yes. My homeland is known for its almost year-round cold and snowy weather.

But sometimes there's hot springs even up north. Not where you're from?

Elusia is home to a number of hot spring resorts... some of which are, from what I have been told, of truly superior quality.

I just personally do not like them.
