The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

Dear:
How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!

Gifts:
Everyone loves gifts, so this week give one to someone else! It can be a physical gift, a gift from the heart, or any other kind of gift.

Take a Plunge
Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!

[ Well... Psyche is in favor of gatherings. And she can adapt to the local standards. She's very securely wrapped in a towel and looking fairly amused at all of this, even if she's mostly trying to drift closer to any other girls out of solidarity. ]

I'm a little surprised so many people turned up.

People do enjoy company. We even have our dour wallflower in attendance. [ Look at Verg disapproving them ]

[ For someone who flirts like it's a reflex, he's surprisingly polite about this. She stifles a smile. ]

I wonder if anything would convince him to join us? The water really is lovely.

I will try my best to convince him, but he does enjoy being a grump.

I suppose as long as he's happy. After all, he did come.

[ PROBABLY. ] I think he'll have to thaw a little, or else he'll just overheat. Is that why you invited everyone?

It's so everyone has something different to look forward to. It may wind up a disaster or a fun memory, but it's a change from what else we might face at the end of the week.

Hm... you're good at looking out for people like that. It's nice to meet up just to relax a little. If we only do group gatherings when things are difficult, I think it'll be harder for us to work together.

It's just for my own selfish desires. Nothing more than that.

[ Alice kind of gives Psyche a look like Why Are You Drifting Closer, but she doesn't say anything about it. ]

Really? This is about what I expected, honestly. [ plus or minus the grumps not participating, but who cares about them ] This place makes it easy to just treat it like a normal vacation.

Maybe that's what these islands were for originally? They do seem designed more like a resort. It's hard to forget about the rest of it, but...

I mean, that makes sense, right? Seems a little too upbeat for someone to just decide to put a bunch of people here just to kill them off to sustain the place.

May as well make the most of it until something happens again.

Still... it's strange that someone would put a — a rite, or a machine, or whatever brought us here at a resort, isn't it?

[ It's weird either way! But Psyche shakes her head to dismiss that. ]

Anyway Kanon has no towel and is fully sitting in the warm water, hair tied up and out of the way.]

It's a hot spring, why wouldn't people show up?

Well, the water is wonderful. But with the whole group? Some people might be a little shy...

[ Did Psyche notice before she approached that Kanon is towel-less? Apparently not, somehow, because her eyes finally widen a little. ]

Oh! Kanon, did you lose your towel?!

[ Did some evil towel thief strike again... Psyche is too busy looking around for a replacement to glare at the most likely culprits, but. ]

Kanon didn't lose her towel, she didn't use one. You aren't supposed to dip your towel in the onsen, obviously.

You aren't? Um... I think this kind of party wouldn't work very well if everyone came without them, though. [ Would it not be distracting?? ] ...Do you have these where you're from?
