The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

Dear:
How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!

Everyone loves gifts, so this week give one to someone else! It can be a physical gift, a gift from the heart, or any other kind of gift.

Take a Plunge
Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!

[ ...and we're back. it's time. ]

Very well. The time is now come; let us take our plunge into the icy depths of the hell that is this resort.

[ now he will hold out his hand.

tentatively. if that's still a thing they're doing. ]

[ Wei Wuxian is already appropriately dressed, albeit in swim trunks and a t-shirt. He has half a mind to peel his own shirt off when he sees Zelkov, but decides not to.

He does, however, give Zelkov a quick once-over. ]

Nice outfit.

[ And he's wiggling his fingers before he takes that hand, gently tugging on it to bring them closer to that cold pool. ]

Ready when you are.

[ he can just feel goldmary judging his onsen vibes from another world so he had to at least do the towel around the waist thing, even if it's got swim trunks under it. ]

[ clears his throat!!

and he'll go along over to the edge of the pool. ]

[ He squeezes Zelkov’s hand for the hell of it. ]

One… two… three!

[ And Wei Wuxian jumps in! Hopefully Zelkov does at the same time so he’s not essentially pulling him in by the hand. ]

[ yep he's doing it, here we go!!!





...there's a sharp breath in and a big exhale once he surfaces. it may not the coldest water he's been in, but it is certainly cold. ]

[ When he resurfaces, Wei Wuxian shivers. ]

Ah, they weren’t lying about it being cold.

They were not.

[ there's maybe a little bit of a smile; he supposes some exhilaration from something that isn't a matter of life and death isn't bad once in a while.

but anyway, this little pool was only intended for one kind of chilling, so he gestures to the ladder. ]

[ Well, don't mind him as he climbs out! His clothes are completely soaked now and it feels like the fabric is getting colder with each second, but he stays to make sure Zelkov can get out just fine, even extending a hand if he needs it. ]

Exhilarating, wasn't it? I saw that smile.

That is... an acceptable word for it, I suppose.

[ he'll politely decline the hand in this instance; perhaps unexpectedly for an art nerd, he's very strong and nimble, something the cold has only seemed to enhance... and he pulls himself up out of that pool in a flash. ]

[ He doesn’t mind that Zelkov doesn’t take his hand, instead watching as he pulls himself out. ]

Quite a bit of athleticism for an arts and crafts guy. I’m impressed.

I am Princess Ivy's retainer, first and foremost. I would be unable to properly fulfill my duty to protect her if my physical condition were inadequate.

[ now for some dry towels... ]

Oh, a retainer? Do you test food for poison as well?

[ Sorry that’s where his thoughts immediately go.

At least he manages to hand Zelkov a dry towel. ]

So, have you developed some sort of immunity? Or do you know what typical poisons will smell or taste like with a single lick?
