The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

Yes, and I thought I explained it to you all weeks ago.

But if you insist I must relate this to you again, so be it.

[ It stays on "bishopkallamar is typing" for nearly twenty minutes. Turns out typing an entire history on a tiny keyboard is hard. ]

As my profile states, I was a bishop of the old faith before I was brought to this island in my current state. I know not what the word "bishop" means to you, but in my world that term is used to describe my siblings and I. We were all gods, each with a domain and power over it. I was content with my lot, but the One Who Waits desired more. He was willing to twist his domain in such unnatural ways we could not allow to stand. We tried to reason, he cruelly maimed us, it was decided to chain him in purgatory as punishment. Now, you would think that would be over with, but no. A prophecy stated that a lamb would rise and free the One Who Waits. We tried everything we could to prevent it, and yet the lamb still came. Now that damned beast is poised to destroy the old faith entirely as far as I'm aware.

Or we should be, but I still have not found where mine went.

That is another story I do not fully understand, but the method our captors used to bring us all here must have been a factor.

I wonder if that is truly a coincidence. Those who lead cults tend to hold great power that they may choose to bestow upon their followers. It would not surprise me if they targeted those who deat with them.

Are the gods usually the ones leading the whole shindig where you're from? It's not just one head wacko who decided to pick a god and worship them? You say you were all bishops; who was ABOVE you, then?

Not because he is being rude (ok, maybe a little) but the nature of his ascension is being called into question and he's never had to consider it... Where did that crown he found so long ago come from, and what of the being who gave crown bearing gods gifts in exchange for tears and a name?
