The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!

Take a Plunge
Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!

[WORP - a golden portal opens up in the wall and out tumbles Skywarp, looking…a little out of breath, actually, for a robot.

He feels some relief that he’s stumbled into a room with Psyche, rather than some of the others…he takes a moment to gather himself when : bam! Whale noise. He helpfully gives his answer.]

…Dreadful. [Said like it’s in no way a bad thing.] What sort of creature makes that sound?

[ What's more startling, Skywarp or the whales? At least one of these things Psyche is beginning to get used to. ]

Oh, is it a creature? That's almost a relief. I thought it was some kind of instrument.

[ Meaning someone was making those noises on purpose... Her brow creases a little as she looks Skywarp over. ]

Um... how are you feeling?

[skyworp]

Or maybe not. Who can say?

[He can’t be providing relief now. That’s just not his style.

At her question, he’s slightly taken aback. When was the last time someone asked him that?]

Better, but not best. Running low on energon makes teleporting exhausting. And I have no other choice now.

[He’s unsteady on his feet even as he stands, opting to lean against the wall.]

Still, it was all worth it.

[ Well... it's good to know he's feeling well enough to still be himself. She gives that a little smile, actually. ]

Most of us here probably aren't good enough at building things to make you a replacement... I wonder if Lobelia or Magolor could help?

[ Lost limbs wouldn't have been her specialty even if he were fully human, unfortunately. ]

Worth it? What for?

[He makes mental note of her suggestions. Lobelia, in particular, seems like a good option. If only because he may be the only person willing to help him out.]

Didn't you see?

[Perhaps she was distracted with the whole murder thing. What a loss.]

Such power. Such devastation. Wasn't it magnificent?

Oh, that...

[ Hm, well. She did think Skywarp was a little like Eros. She tilts her head thoughtfully. ]

He's very strong. I wonder if whatever is keeping the rest of us from using our powers properly just doesn't affect them?

[ 2/10 she's seen bigger. Maybe. ]

I’ll bet. How else would they control us? Not without threat.

[He chuckles.]

I wonder how well that display worked. Will anyone try something? I do hope so.

[ Oh, Skywarp... never change. Psyche lets out a little sigh. ]

I don't want any more of us getting hurt. But they haven't left us many choices. I think people will be more angry than frightened... [ Projecting! She gives Skywarp's leg a worried frown again. ] Will you? I can't heal lost limbs... I hope you at least recover a little first.

[skyworp]

Fear and anger, they're not that much different, are they?

[She gives him a worried frown, he gives her a grin.]

Don't worry. I've gotten what I wanted. I don't plan on pushing it any further with our hosts. [He'd much rather cozy up to them instead. All part of the plan.] Do you really think that was the end of it, though? I'd say we're only getting started.

Hmm...

[ He's just being himself, but she's giving that a lot of philosophical thought. ]

They're close, but a little opposite... [ Hm! ] I think you're right, though. That's why I'm glad to hear that you'll be careful. [ ...was more or less what he said. ]

[skyworp]

[He chuckles.]

Do you show this much concern for everyone?

[Or is he just special? Please tell him he’s special.]

[ Sorry Skywarp, ] I like to think I do. Or at least, I try to. [ Some people may test her even more than Skywarp! ] I don't really care if people think I'm soft because of it. I just don't like seeing people hurt.

[skyworp]

[Hm. A frown of disappointment, but his interest is piqued.]

Aren’t you just setting yourself up to be hurt? There is no avoiding the inevitable.

I suppose... it's worth it, to me. What does it matter if it's inevitable? If we really can't change anything, then I don't have a reason not to follow my heart. I don't want to have any regrets.
