WEEK THREE

WEEK THREE
26 Vacationers

The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

!
TASKS:

Dear:
How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!
(REWARD: RARE!)

Gifts:
Everyone loves gifts, so this week give one to someone else! It can be a physical gift, a gift from the heart, or any other kind of gift.
(REWARD: RARE!)

Take a Plunge
Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!
(Reward: Common)

(( REMINDER: Task submissions are due Friday by 9 PM EST/6 PM PST. ))
(( OOC: Murder proposals are due by Tuesday at 4 PM EST / 1 PM PST, for the current week's murder. Feel free to submit for later weeks too!

Also, as always, your admins can be contacted for a chat. ))

Huh, interesting... I've seen people hunting with falcons and people growing chicken for food, but not something like this.

[ he smiles softly, looking around to view the variety of birds. ]

Maybe they were more excited about the food than they were threatened. Either way, we shouldn't have to think much about it. You said you had one, didn't you? Then this must remind you of home.

Probably because there's nothing practical about something like this. The birds aren't for food, they're just... pretty.

[ At least usually. Psyche gives the birds that aren't geese a smile, anyway. ]

It does, a little bit. My father had it built to give me something to look at because I was too fragile to go outside. This one is much bigger, though.

Ah... but isn't that a bit of a waste...?

[ well, he wouldn't be able to understand that all too well. from the looks of it, their lives were totally different. ]

Is that the case? So you didn't leave your home often, then? That must have been tough.

It is, a little. Most of them are really too small to be useful for food, but...

[ She's learned at least enough to realize that the cost of that kind of building, or the food the birds eat isn't trivial either. Thinking that just makes her miss Lira with unexpected acuteness. ]

...Well, I didn't used to. But I've been getting a lot stronger! [ She gives a little pump of her fist that demonstrates nothing. But she was willing to fight a goose! ] What about you? Do you get to travel a lot?
