The events of the past weekend, the past week, may linger on your mind as you awaken to the sun rising on your third week on Sungem's Peak. The rays of the sun are welcoming as always, and so are the amenities, and the new island— Kingfisher's Retreat.

The theme this week certainly seems to be relaxation and excitement, perhaps with a mind to distract all vacationers that your number has decreased by two. Or maybe you're the type to take a plunge in the name of your sacrificed vacationers? Either way, there's plenty of do, including more tasks for the objective minded.

Dear:
How are you enjoying your vacation? Are you missing your friends or family back home? Write them a postcard and post it on the bulletin board!

Take a Plunge
Take advantage of the waterfall, cold plunge, or even plain trust with one another. The point is to take a leap of faith together!

[ Per a certain (not) bird's recommendation, Xiao has decided to try one of the easier games in the arcade. He's gotta learn what these things do in case something else happens in here again, much like what happened with Chai's case. He would like some assistance, of course, in case he blunders this entirely.

Thankfully, Haruka has agreed to accompany him, so here they are, standing at the entrance of the arcade. ]

Direct me to where either the "racing" or "fighting" games are.

Racing and fighting…?

[Well, fighting makes sense for Xiao. He lives and breathes combat, from what Haruka has gathered, though racing is more of a surprise.

Both options fill him with mild dread, though. Is guiding him through how to use a (fake) steering wheel better or worse then teaching Xiao combos? It’s not like Haruka even knows all of them, depending on what games the arcade has…

Well, if Xiao is willing to learn, Haruka is willing to teach, though he might not be the best teacher.]

I think there’s some cabinets this way.

[And he’ll lead them over to the fighting games! Combos it is.]

[ Xiao follows him to where the fighting games are. The screens look very bright, and it's pretty noisy in here. He's not a fan, but he'll suck it up, since he's the one who asked Haruka to assist.

He looks at one called "Street Fighter". ]

This is the one I was told about. How do I play it?

[Just pretend there’s a breakdown of the controls and an explanation of combos and blocking, throws, all of that here because I am not a fighting game person.]

…But it’s probably easier to learn by playing it yourself. You can try against a bot first until you get the hang of it.

[plunges]

[ At that, he shakes his head. ]

No. I came here to play with you.
