Do you remember what it was like to get your first postcard? Maybe you don't, maybe you never got one at all, but no matter where you are, no matter WHEN you are, you'll find a particularly festive one slipped under your door, pillow, accompanied by a tinny meow.


Maybe that rings more familiar.

Should you check the RSVP box YES on the back, you'll find youself whisked away to the nebula of the island you once called home. It's still purple and spacey, but there's holiday decorations to be had through the work of some festive cat bots that have whirred to life since your last visit. Yes, there's at least a few palm trees adorned with lights inspiring some type of cheer.

Since you're already here, why not catch up with your fellow islanders? As always, there's food for you to enjoy courtesy of the catbots, and there's even tasks if you feel like doing them for old times sake (or for the cool swag). There might even be a new face or two in the crowd, interdimensional invitations are a bit tricky to wrangle even if you're not a repurposed kittybot.

[ And to no one's surprise, Ibuki immediately (and literally—sorry, possible Pseudo-Athos piece) drops whatever's he's doing to wave, grin wide and enthusiasm apparent. It's really been too long, even with all the texts and pictures of destruction and roaming Vectors he's been sending. ]

Hehe, maybe. I thought it'd be funny to try something a little different this week. Someone I know suggested it'd match with that cowl you gave me, but well, I'd rather wear them separately.

[ With that said, Ibuki leaps off the tree he's chilling on, a shower of sparkles following in his wake. Long before he hits the ground, he twirls and shifts into Moravia, now wearing both cowl and cape. But right before the landing, she lets the cape cover her, neatly hiding her as she transforms yet again. Now on the ground, Ibuki's the one wearing the cowl instead, which he arranged in a more scarf-like manner.

Don't ask how long he's been practicing swapping outer clothes and accessories between forms. (Because yes, both of them will wear that necklace no matter what.) The answer is always an unreasonable amount of time.

Anyhow, hey, reunion! Of course, it'd be remiss of him to not mention Tomura's new attire. He's definitely of the mind that the ribbon as hair tie is a great touch, but he's gotta mention something else first. ]

You sure dressed up. And not in pajamas.

[handsheld]

It's not for the "optics". [ His eyes follow them throughout the show, flashy as it is with a wide smile. Villains like shows almost as much as they like destruction, but most importantly, Shigaraki likes seeing them happy. ]

I gotta have cool equips to go 'long with my accessories. [ There's no flourish of his own here since that's not his thing, but coincidentally the light catches off his matching necklace that of course he's also wearing and hadn't taken off. ]

[ His flair for the dramatic has grown bit by bit since then, thanks in part to his photography sidequest. And it does show in his attire. While he may not look festive and colorful outside his then-cape-now-cowl, his current outfit is rather reminiscent of a stage magician. ]

Yeah, makes sense. It looks awesome on you.

[ He's certainly more than pleased to see him still wearing the ribbon and necklace, evident by the cheerful glint in his eyes. But even so, that's just a bonus to seeing him in person again. Time passing felt simultaneously quick and slow since then, what with everything that needed to be done. ]

I haven't played one of them in a while, but it sure wouldn't be out of place as the final boss in a beat 'em up.

Maybe I should've killed 'em in pjs with how easy most of the heroes went down. [ A bit of a brag but the truth because with the quirk bullets the fight was pretty much on ez mode even if really mopping it up is still a long affair. ]

Toga'll be glad to hear it later, I let her do whatever she wanted for once.

[ Cause you didn't think he really put any thought into this actually coordinated outfit himself did you? Even if there were stipulations and some convincing on her end.

Hehe, maybe. Sounds like you and your crew are having fun.

[ Imagining both Shigaraki fighting heroes in pajamas and getting a coordinated outfit from Toga gets a fond laugh out of him. Both should totally happen more in his biased point of view. ]

Well, I'm always up for fireworks.

[ Especially since he didn't see them in person back where he came from. ]

And I have something for you too, so good timing.

Let's set the stage first. [ Despite the time that's passed, Shigaraki reaches out to take Ibuki's hand in his own like all the other times on the island.

The something for him doesn't go unnoticed either, curling his lips into a grin. He'll ask about that in a bit. ]

I know you can fly, but I wanna do it like this. [ Together, like some wayward destructive Peter Pans. ]

[ Without missing a beat, Ibuki reaches out as well.

Even though their time on the island was brief in the long run, he feels something akin to nostalgia holding hands like this. Almost like continuing where they left off, but not quite. Things just aren't the same. Not that it's a bad thing with them. Far from it.

Still, he holds his hand out the same way he did back in those days. ]
