See you next time
SEE YOU
Welcome to...
Well, this ain't the islands anymore. You might see pieces of the island, a go-kart floating in the distance, the waterfall flowing upside down, a giant lollipop, all floating in what's similar to a nebula in space. Actually, it's closer to the void you've all grown to know so well over the weeks.
Fret not because the air here is breathable even if the landscape defies physics. Scattered throughout the "land" are shadowy portals, each leading to all of your homeworlds, at the exact time you had left off. Manipulating space-time is convenient like that.
Your u-pinions somehow, have survived, and they'll continue to function as an intranet between all of you. Oh, and everyone will gain the power to return to this space whenever they'd like and utilize the portals as they wish.
Your vacation is finally over, but this doesn't have to be goodbye. (( OOC: Happy Good End Everyone! You all earned this. We hope you had a great time, and from the three of us, thanks for joining us on this wild ride! ))

I do. You could have your own room, too. I think it'd be up to your standards.

...What does Kanon have to do?

[ Lacus already has servants for everything though... But if Kanon feels like she ought to repay this, then... ]
You could help me with my garden if you'd like?

It can be. But the flowers bloom beautifully at the end.
[ After a moment of thought: ] It's probably a good selfie-spot?

Kanon could totally kill it with garden photos!

There is! My world's more advanced with technology than the islands were. Internet connection down to Earth can be a bit spotty, depending on the conditions in space, but you'll still have the whole media landscape of the space colonies available.

Kanon's sure to take everyone by storm!

But it'd be nice if Kanon didn't have to meet a fate as miserable as they did. ]
If you decide you like it at the PLANTs, who knows... Maybe I could introduce you to my old agency?
[ She's done modeling work before, and that seems right up Kanon's alley. ]

[...Hmmm...]

Hey, La-chan...
Does anyone still listen to like, piano and stuff?
no subject
Of course. An acquaintance was training to become a pianist, in fact.
[ He died in the war at age 15, but... the piano wasn't the problem here. ]
I like piano music myself.

[There's a certain bitterness to her tone, even if...
Ultimately, it's directed at herself this time.]
no subject
Novelty is not the only reason something could have value, no? The piano's been used to convert people's sentiments into songs for centuries and centuries. A reliable partner, creating beautiful music that can still be enjoyed far into the future.
[ Getting more direct feels like taking a gamble, but Lacus decides that if Kanon has opened the path, she should give it a try. ]
Do you like it?
no subject
Why would Kanon like something so old and stuffy-? Hyaha, don't tell me you've got one of those lame things!
[Her tone is like
the LEAST believable.]
no subject
I don't. Not... yet, at least?

[ Come on, Kanon, here is something you can do to repay lodging that isn't garden work. You can do it, girl! ]
