See you next time
SEE YOU
Welcome to...
Well, this ain't the islands anymore. You might see pieces of the island, a go-kart floating in the distance, the waterfall flowing upside down, a giant lollipop, all floating in what's similar to a nebula in space. Actually, it's closer to the void you've all grown to know so well over the weeks.
Fret not because the air here is breathable even if the landscape defies physics. Scattered throughout the "land" are shadowy portals, each leading to all of your homeworlds, at the exact time you had left off. Manipulating space-time is convenient like that.
Your u-pinions somehow, have survived, and they'll continue to function as an intranet between all of you. Oh, and everyone will gain the power to return to this space whenever they'd like and utilize the portals as they wish.
Your vacation is finally over, but this doesn't have to be goodbye. (( OOC: Happy Good End Everyone! You all earned this. We hope you had a great time, and from the three of us, thanks for joining us on this wild ride! ))

[ round… ]
What’s up? [ he smiles weakly ] Good work today.

[ talk about a wildass con. ]

[ he shrugs. ]

Well! Now you know. What now, hm?
no subject
[ after everything he’s seen? this is hardly the strangest thing out there. ]
I guess now I’m just concerned you’ll be blown away by the sea breeze. That’s all.
no subject
[ don't mind the EYES icons i had to keep breaking out every now and then, or the trauma he probably gave kallamar. ]
It's fiiiine. When you're used to space, a little sea breeze is nothing!

[ he’s from the past! he wouldn’t have known the concept of aliens!! ]
Huh… space is a scary place, from what I remember of your memory. So I think you’re definitely right about that.
no subject
[ this is the problem with only ever visiting new places on work, crea!!! consider learning dimension magic and traveling just to travel! ]
And space usually isn't... like that. That kind of thing isn't normal.
It's usually just a lot quieter, with people much further and in between.

[ it’s said with a wry smile and without any bite, just an acknowledgment of how ironic life is sometimes. he remembers he used to talk about setting off on a journey as an aloof hero when he was a child. now he’s an uneasy villain standing at a fork on the road.
… ]
Quiet, huh? That sounds nice actually. [ a quiet peace. ] Good thing you have friends now, though. It must get lonely otherwise.

[ which probably means at least some of his trashfire decisions were because he had no one to serve as a sanity check and reel him in, but
but also, he's not going to admit to being lonely. ]
But I guess it's nice, having somewhere to go back to.
no subject
[ he nods. keep your feelings to yourself then, morb. ]
Ah well, I guess after this six week vacation it's time to go back to reality.
no subject
Still, I can't argue that there aren't benefits to it!
[ just take your friend and run oh my god. you can figure it out after there are literally so many places to go and pick up the pieces.
but hey! he's no career counselor, and he's definitely no therapist. and those two really need something wild. ]

[ he’s thinking about it!! is it worth triggering sion via betraying him and the boss or via trying to convince him to leave the organization together. and here he thought he was fine with everything… ]
But I’m glad things worked out. At least everyone is back.
[ mostly… considering nona/alecto ]

I think our time limit was the bigger threat in the end, with the way he could heal himself ... You know, I'm kind of wondering why he didn't just run, after we made him back off that first time.
[ he'd said there was enough to leave. had to make a point because of pride, or was he worried some of them would manage to follow?
ah, he should have really just thrown a black hole at him. that probably would have messed up the dead's body parts more but it's fine, surely. if alice could be revived from a single arm it'll be fine. ]

[ he's seen that sort of thing before. drunk on their power and egoism, no amount of calculations would stop the villain from pursuing the fight to its bitter end, even when there's a dozen better options to take.
...though that thought does make crea pause momentarily, realizing that it might be applicable to the situation back home.
he shrugs. ]
Maybe things were supposed to be this stereotypical. The good guys beat the crazy bad guy, save the day, and live happily ever after.
no subject
Are we the good guys? I mean like. Is that really what you want to call us?
[ seems like it's trying a little hard to slap them into the most stereotypical labels, when people really aren't. ]
